Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
I can't believe how simple these are! They're good when they're warm.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2006
Nothing special . . . it just tastes like cake. Cake is good, but I expect something more from ZUCCHINI bread.

Peach Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2006
The fresh peaches taste so good, and it's very rich! Next time I use very ripe peaches, though, I'll cut back on the sugar.

Best Spinach Dip Ever

Reviewed: May 16, 2006
So rich and delicious! We like to eat it with pita chips. Before, I was using a recipe with plain, nonfat yogurt. Mayo is WAY better, and I'm never going back!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2006
I made these for my Bible study, and they loved them! I used pecans instead of walnuts. I wish there were some way to get caramel blobs in there, too; that would be AWESOME.

Better Than Sex Cake II

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2006
Good tip about breaking the toffee bars into big chunks! It was great! I have no desire to ever marry, as long as I keep making this cake! Haha!

Mom's Applesauce Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2006
These seem to cook faster than regular pancakes. The apple cinnamon taste is subtle but good. Really good with sliced bananas!

Molten Chocolate Cakes With Sugar-Coated Raspberries

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2006
These cakes are very sweet and rich-- a little too rich. It's kind of like eating hot batter. Tip: Don't stick birthday candles in them; the molten centers melt the wax.

Lemon Square Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2006
15 minutes was too short of baking time for the crust; and 30 minutes was too long for the filling. That's okay, though, because a powdered sugar dusting covers up any brown spots. I love how easy this recipe is, and how it doesn't require you to cool the crust before adding the filling. And it's also really yummy-- my parents love these.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Delicious-- moist but not greasy. They smell like Thanksgiving while they're baking!

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2006
Hearty and delicious! In addition to fresh celery, onion, and garlic, I used chopped broccoli, carrots, peas, corn, green beans, and lima beans-- all frozen. I also multiplied the biscuit dough by 1.5 because crustiness is always desired. Will definitely make again!!!

Peanut Butter Balls II

SO rich and SO delicious! Plus, it's so easy to make a little swirl of melted chocolate on the top to make them look professionally dipped!

Blue Ribbon Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2006
I normally don't like sugar cookies, but these have a YUMMY chewy/crispy texture, instead of the usual crunchy yuckiness. And I love the lemon extract in it!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2006
So tender, it fell apart when we were taking it out of the slow cooker! We added veggies like carrots and onions-- it was DELICIOUS and SO EASY. And there's plenty of gravy to save for other stuff!

Chocolate Zucchini Bread I

So chocolatey and SOOOO good! I don't know how to keep the chocolate chips from sinking to the bottom of the batter, though.
