Tuna Patty Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2008
I love this recipe with my modifications: first, I eyeball everything, and since I like mustard, I use a bit more than called for. I also add this and that: some minced garlic, fresh cracked pepper, a little lemon juice, dill, etc with the beaten egg. Lastly, I add the bread crumbs still it's nice and firm. Then, when I really want to dress it up, I sautee the patties in a little butter, then, at the end, I add some smoked muenster cheese on top of each. One slice quartered works perfectly. I like to serve two patties on one slightly toasted english muffin, sometimes with thousand island dressing or french as a sauce and sometimes with lettuce and tomato. Perfect lunch for my boyfriend and I. Thanks for the recipe!

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2007
I have been making this dessert every year for my annual Halloween party for the last 10 yrs. I don't use wax paper to shape the fingers, just my well-washed hands. I then use a sharp knife to cut in the knuckles and finger lines, dipped in hot water between cuts. Also, I add the red gel frosting to the base of the fingers as if they've been pulled out of their socket - gross! That way, you don't have to mess with the almonds. You can also add chocolate chips to them right after they come out of the oven to add flavor and "warts". Lots of great feedback ever year, my guests now expect to see them!

Black Halloween Punch

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
I added vodka to this for my "adult" party and I had to keep re-filling it!! Also, add different food coloring to the gloves to make it even spookier! We used extra blue, red, and green. Then we hung the gloves in our freezer with clothes pins so it froze the whole hand.

Potato Chip Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
My boyfriend hated this, but he is very picky. I thought it was OK. Not very flavorful and I added extra spices. I made it for my boyfriend so I won't be making this again.
