Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2010
Super Good!! I sort of made it into a 1 pot meal - as I'm always looking to make things easier and less messy!! So, I made my own chicken broth w/ boulion cubes -- brought that to a boil and then added chopped onion and broccoli and let that boil for a few minutes and then added the cheese. I totally skipped the butter and milk -- and it turned out creamy and delicious!! Also, I cut the cornstach in half. VERY VERY GOOD!! WILL MAKE AGAIN!!!

Really good!! We enjoy our BBQ's to be a little more on the sweet side, so I just added brown sugar until I liked it!! I also added herbs and pepper -- very tasty!!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
Love this meatloaf!! I don't put the sugar on the bottom of the pan -- I just use it in the mixture for the topping!! Also, I use bread crumbs -- for simplicity! Very good!!

Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
These were sooooo good!! I put them in the slow cooker on about 225 degrees for nearly 8 hours, and they were absolutely the best ever!! So tender and moist!! We dont really care for store-bought BBQ sauce so I made my own (Ketchup, mustard, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar) I also added parsley, basil, garlic powder and ground black pepper to the chops before adding the sauce!! Also, one more note ... I put the chops in the crock-pot frozen!! Very easy and very DELICIOUS!!!

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
These were really good!! I come from a large family of cranberry growers - and for a dried cranberry I must say I give this recipe props!! Cooking tip: I kept my drops of dough "tight" to keep the cookies thick and chewy!! Also, take them out a tad bit early, let them rest on the cookie sheet and then move to the cooling rack!! Yummy!!

Really really good cookies!! Moist, soft and Chewy!! YUMMY!! The only thing I did different is skipped the cloves (because I didn't have any, and really no one missed them!!) and used 1 cup brown sugar and 1 cup white sugar in the dough! Delicious!! Thank you!!

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
This was really good!! We really enjoy our "normal" seasonings, so thats exactly what I did!! I seasoned the chicken on either side and pressed it in. The I seasoned the flour in the baggy. Dipped the chicken in and put it in the pan. Really good!!

Venison Bacon Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
I thought this was a great idea!! I practically minced the bacon and fried it with some finely chopped onion. I didn't mix in the fat, I simply scooped out the bacon/onion mixture, let it cool and then mixed it in with the venison. I also added parsley flakes, minced garlic and ground pepper!! Really great!!

Taco Bake

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
This is a good basic recipe (which is exactly what I was looking for!!) I left out the tomato sauce and peppers, and used egg noodles rather than elbows! I layered it in a 9x13 starting at the bottom .. taco seasoned burger, egg noodles, diced canned tomatoes, diced black olives and then I evenly put 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese on top. I served it with crushed up dorritos and sour cream!! Sooo good!!!

Baked Spaghetti with Venison

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
Super good!! I used canned spaghetti sauce instead of tomato sauce! I also left out the green pepper, but put in a can of diced tomatoes! Simply seasoned it how we like it, baked and served!! We really enjoyed this dish, and next time I may add fresh mushrooms and use regular spaghetti noodles rather than thin!

The was really good ... it's exactly how I make my stuffed peppers (w/o the noodles of course!!) so I added in a chopped up green pepper and had "Stuffed Pepper Casserole!!" Scrumptious!!
