Pan-Roasted Chicken Breasts with a Chasseur Sauce Recipe : Emeril Lagasse : Food Network

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
make sure your butter is soft when mixed with the flour for the last step of the sauce-mine was all lumpy because my butter wasn't soft enough :( other than that delicious! but then you can't go wrong with emeril!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
nothing is better than au gratin potatoes...great also for fennel root if you can find it-the sweetness of the fennel with the saltiness of the cheese is a great contrast

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
I don't know what these taste like yet, but the batter was delicious :D and my house is filled with a yummy chocolate smell! mmmm... (later) wow, so chocolatey and moist-will definitely make again, I cut the sugar to 2.5 cups, probably will cut it again to 2 cups, a little too sweet, but still delicious.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
I just whipped these up...delicious! I didn't have any butter so I used a whole stick of the butter flavored shortening and three teaspoons of water. It may have changed the flavor a bit, but they are still great. They were not too soft at all...wonder what happened to so many people that they are falling apart! I also left out the raisins since my honey makes faces at them :)

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2008
This was my first time making carrot cake and I LOVE carrot cake. I just thought it would be so complicated...boy was I wrong! This recipe was easy, delicious and completely satisfying. I didn't give it a 5 because I thought the frosting was a little runny, though the flavor was awesome. Could someone maybe recommend some adjustments or take a guess at where I went wrong?

Chicken with Asparagus and Roasted Red Peppers

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
This recipe is fantastic! I wish I could have used the balsamic vinegar (my boyfriend doesn't like it) and I prefered it without the tomatoes, I made double and brought it to work for lunch. It was just as delicious as for dinner. I'm in Italy and on the south beach diet, which is difficult because of the different food they have here. This was easy because I can find everything here since it's all fresh!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
This cheesecake was so good! My mother-in-law wanted to eat the whole thing, and my grandma got mad when I tried to share with my aunt! My mom made a rasberry topping (taken from a cobbler recipe) that complimented it really well and even though it didn't last too long we found that the next day the flavors had really had a chance to meld and was fantastic with a rich roasted coffee.

Whole Wheat Muffins

Reviewed: May 7, 2007
These were so super easy and perfect for breakfast. They were good as they were, really moist and fluffy, but were also good when I cut them in half and put jam in them...mmmm. I did add a tsp of cinnamon as suggested by another member which did make a difference as well.
