Overnight Blueberry French Toast
Wow! My husband made it for breakfast today and it was really good. He used homemade whole wheat bread and it worked great. We wondered about melting the cream cheese next time to get a more even spread, 1 inch squares seems like too much for one bite. I also reduced the sugar by half in the sauce and used more blueberries and it was still very sweet...actually I think it needed a dash of salt or maybe some lemon juice to cut through the sweetness a bit, oh yeah, I totally forgot about the butter in the sauce, didn't miss it. Overall an excellent recipe. Its definitely going in the cookbook!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili
I thought this was delicious, easy and healthy! I left out both the jalapeños and the cayenne (because my kids won't eat spicy). That left it a little bland. I added 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp pepper and that wasn't quite enough; another dash of each in the bowl cured it and it was delicious. I used (very chicken looking) pork chops on accident and it still tasted great. To save effort I put the meat and the broth in the blender on low and it shredded the meat for me...very easy.

Fragrant Lemon Chicken
This did not turn out at all! I used chicken breasts, but besides that I followed the recipe. The recipe doesn't specify what type of apple. I used a granny smith and the recipe turned out really sour. No one liked it. I have had lemon chicken in restaurants an the lemon is an accent flavor, the chicken would be good with out it...I think the overwhelming sourness here ruined the recipe. I ended up rinsing everything off and dumping some Alfredo sauce on and it still seemed too sour.
