French Onion Soup Gratinee

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2013
This was SO good; I actually preferred it to many of the versions I've had in restaurants. I made it as part of a birthday dinner for my husband, and he raved over it too. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe!

Bou's Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2009
I love this recipe as a quick, easy way to use chicken. It's very tangy and has a sharp flavor, but that's kind of obvious due to the vinegar and mustard. Personally, I love that, but it's not for everyone. We prefer to use cut-up chicken breasts for this, just because I like white meat, but either way, it's a handy recipe to have!

This is my new favorite frosting recipe. It's worth the extra time; so decadent! I used it for sugar cookies, and it was the perfect complement.

American Lasagna

Reviewed: May 19, 2006
This is a fabulous recipe. I made it as a treat for someone special, and he ate almost the whole pan over the course of two days. It was my first time ever making lasagna, and I was surprised by how easy it was; even easier if you use the kind of noodles that don't need to be boiled first. Yummy!

Lemon Pepper Chicken II

Reviewed: May 18, 2006
This is yummy! I used light Italian dressing to save on calories, and took the advice of other cooks here to use unsweetened Kool-Aid. Three packets gave this chicken an amazing flavor, and the baking times listed were just perfect to keep the meat juicy and tender. A definite keeper!

Quinoa Pudding

Reviewed: May 18, 2006
Quite nice! Not too sweet, and had a really interesting texture. This was my first time trying quinoa, and I'm very impressed. Will definitely make this again, perhaps with more cinnamon and vanilla for a more "comfort food" taste.

Quinoa Tabbouleh

Reviewed: May 17, 2006
Mmmm, so yummy! I used a bit of minced garlic in place of the green onion due to allergies, and I also cooked the quinoa in low-sodium chicken broth in place of plain water. (Obviously this negates the vegetarian aspect of the recipe, but boy, is it great on flavor!) I will definitely be making this again, and experimenting further.
