Puerto Rican Garlic Marinade

Reviewed: Apr. 21, 2008
Great, simple recipe. We used this to make chicken breasts on the grill. I usually avoid grilling chicken because it always seems so dry and bland (and I usually don't have marinade on hand), but this will definitely make for great picnic lunches. Thanks! I love a recipe that uses ingredients that I always have on hand.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
This was a big hit for everyone in my family. I realize it's not the healthiest dish, but as far as taste goes, it was delicious. I would definitely make this for company. I didn't make any changes like other reviewers suggested because I wanted to try the recipe as is...and I thought it was great that way.

Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2007
I used this recipe to make some garlic bread as well as to flavor the pasta and vegetables we had with our dinner. It tasted great. I love garlic so I could probably even add more garlic and spice to it and would think it was even better. Thanks for the recipe!

Sesame Beef

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2007
I agree with some of the other reviewers-the sugar makes for a flavor that I don't really care for. I prefer my stir-frys to taste salty rather than sweet. I also thought the meat could have used some tenderizing beforehand as well.

Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2007
These were awesome! The only change I made was to add vanilla like some of the other reviewers suggested. I also followed other's suggestion to poke a hole into the puffs after cooking for 20 minutes. My puffs didn't collapse, and I thought this dessert was wonderful. I'm certain I'll use this recipe for the next potluck. Thanks!

Creamy Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
Considering how simple this recipe is, my family thought it tasted great. After baking the chicken, I cut it up into smaller pieces for the last 10 minutes of cooking with the cream of chicken soup. It made for a really moist meat. Tasted great over egg noodles, and the leftovers reheat very well. Will definitely make this often.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
I think I would have preferred a more zesty flavor. It wasn't bad, just not exactly what I consider seasoned french fries.

Chocolate Chip Muffins

This recipe was very simple. I had all of the ingredients in my cupboard already (which is rare for me), and I thought they tasted great. I will make these often!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2006
This is by far the best cookie recipe I've ever tried. I've made three batches so far, and each batch has been a hit. It's the first dessert that I've been eager to bring to a get together because I know they will be a hit. I followed the recipe exactly (except to cut everything in half). Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

Poor Man's Hamburger Steaks

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2006
This meal wasn't for me. It was an interesting way to prepare ground beef, but I didn't think it had very much flavor. But keep in mind, I prefer chicken over beef, so I'm not the best judge.

Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2006
For a first-timer, I was very pleased with how this meal tasted. The only change I did was to add an onion to the cavity. It took my bird more than an hour to finish (about 1 1/2 hrs), but I was also being cautious about the internal temperature because it was my first roast. I would recommend this to all beginners, and I will be making this again and again

Beef Tips

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2006
I generally like salty foods, so even though I read the warnings and decided to leave out the salt in this recipe, I still found the salt content to be quite strong. I will make this again, but will try the reduced salt soy sauce as well. Otherwise, the meat was very tender and my husband thought it was great regardless. Thanks.

Cooking Light magazine's Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2006
I thought this recipe was excellent. Followed it exactly, had my doubts because it was so simple to prepare, but it tasted wonderful. Less is more.
