Slow Cooker Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
As written this was very bland and watery. So the first try was met with disappointment from my curry crazed family. The good news is that this receipe is salvagable. The next time, I added plain yogurt (about 2 TBLS)to thicken the sauce, coriander, cumin, and tumeric. I served it over rice with fresh ground cinnamon. Not a bad start though as the chicken stays very moist and tender.

The World's Greatest Crab Recipe

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2008
Somebody better warn the crabs!! Bar none this is absolutely THE BEST crab recipe I've ever had. I grew up on the Cheasapeake Bay, so that's saying something. So easy you have time to bow to the applause. Thanks for a great recipe.

Doreen's Ham Slices on the Grill

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
The only thing my husband likes more than ham for dinner is more ham. This recipe is a winner. I grilled it very slowly and the ham came out fork tender. I used the leftover ham for sandwiches the next day and used yeast rolls. The blend of flavors was amazing as each flavor became more distinct as we ate. High five, Doreen!!!!

Easy Apple Cider

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2007
It's difficult to feel harvest time festive in Florida when it's still 88 degrees outside. I served this wonderful cider cold with orange slices to girlfriends during a Halloween Make-up Party. Now we're waiting for a cold front so we can enjoy it warm. I served it with plain donuts that we fried together!
