Scalloped Potatoes I

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
These potatoes were VERY yummy and super easy! They were a big hit with my Easter ham that I made. I followed the suggestions of others by adding 1/2 cup milk to the soup. Baked it for 1 hour covered and then an extra 15 mins uncovered. When I pulled it out of the oven, I sprinkled the dish with paprika. I also used Red Potatoes instead and left the skins on (not sure if that was ever suggested or not)....yum yum yum!! :)

Annemarie's Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
These were and are wonderful! I'm actually eating one right now as I type this! I have made these Lemon Bars a few times now and love the outcome...I'm completely addicted! lol I did change a few things to make it more to my liking. For instance, I baked the shortbread like crust for 15 mins instead of the 20 the recipe called for. I also added WAY more lemon juice...about 1/4 cup actually. :) My husband and I decided that we wanted more lemon taste. Thanks for a GREAT recipe that I will make all the time! :)

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
I needed to add more milk..I think I ended up adding about 9 teaspoons total to make it the consistancy I needed and wanted for my bundt cake. It was so very tasty...love this recipe. I will save it for always and I have passed it along to my sister too! :)

Cheesy Chicken and Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
This was very yummy and super easy..it was also a family hit! I think, though, that next time I will micro the potatos a little bit before putting them in the mixture. The potatos were still a little bit too hard for my liking. I would definately add more cheese too! We are cheese people, thats for sure. Other than those two thing I think I would add veggies to it the next time to make it a complet meal. This was a great recipe for our family!

Brunch Scones

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
I wanted to try a new recipe for scones and found this one that seemed easy enough for me to make a bazilion of. It was a very easy recipe!! I tripled it at first and instead of adding the currents, I add chocolate chips (my favorite kind of scone!). I didnt change anything in the recipe, even though I tripled it except that I didnt roll it out on flour, I used parchment paper. Much easier and way less messy. I then doubled the recipe, this time adding cran-raisins instead of the currents. I also used a heart cookie cutter instead of the round cutter, just to make them "cuter". :) These are wonderfully yummy scones and were a BIG hit at my Ladies Tea at church yesterday. I even took the leftover scones and gave them to the kids in Childrens Church for their morning snack! They gobbled them right up! Thanks for a wonderful recipe! I will make these forever now!

Easy Devonshire Cream

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
Super easy to make! I made it for a Ladies Tea that I was putting on at my church. I was unable to get out of town to buy the Devonshire Cream at World Market...we live in a VERY small town and are miles from anywhere. I found this recipe and was very excited! All the ladies at church raved about how yummy it was. :) I took the left over scones this morning to church and everyone wanted more Devonshire Cream to go with it! YUM! Thanks so much for this recipe...its a definate do again and its in my cookbook forever!
