Nutty Quick Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
This has very good flavor, but decided to add vanilla, and dried cranberries for a bake sale! I like that it is low fat. I did have to bake my breads a bit longer since the first batch wasn't done in the middle....be sure and check it!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2011
This is the best cornbread I have EVER tasted. It was so good, that I just had to leave a review! Easy to mix up, moist and sweet....great with chili! Try it, you won't be sorry. I will try it with some whole wheat flour next time as someone suggested, but I always try the original recipe first! Enjoy!

Simple Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2008
I make this a lot, but my recipe calls for worchestershire sauce...add as much as you'd like. Also I add 1 cup of sour cream. It is one of my sons favorites!

Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2007
I made these for my son's surprise 30th birthday party- everyone loved them. The filling puffs when baked, but will lower as it cools. Mine made 14-15 a batch. I plan to make these at Christmastime to give to the neighbors! Enjoy!

Asparagus Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
I so enjoyed this different recipe. I used fresh asparagus, and par cooked it in the microwave before using. I doubled the recipe and put it in a 9x13 pan, but just layered the items twice. I also added extra cheese in the layers. I used a 1 lb canned ham which worked great to just cut into strips. I did add some dill over the sauce, as it is a bit bland though- that's why I only gave it 4 stars. Otherwise my husband loved it!

Excellent and Healthy Cornbread

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2006
This is so moist for not having any oil in it, and uses items we usually have on hand. Much better than the mixes you buy! I will definitely make this again- great with Chili!
