Balsamic Vinaigrette

3:1 oil to vinegar ratio is important. If you follow the 3:1 ratio you will not need to add extra sugars or other unnecessary ingredients in vinaigrette. I would have rated this a 3.5 star but you can not do halfsies. Otherwise a good basic vinaigrette. Oh and don't store this too long if you use fresh garlic. There is a chance that botulism could take up residence. If you roast the garlic first then you are much safer.

Dough Ornament Recipe

Worked well. I baked them at 300 in a convection oven. I make these every year with my many kids. It is their favorite tradition. I have tried many recipes. These worked well in that there was not much poof.

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Great recipe. I made a couple of changes. I doubled the salt and instead of butter I used 1/2 cup shortening and 1/2 cup applesauce. I also didn't add any nuts. They tasted great and plenty moist.

Apple Crisp IV

I halved the recipe for an 8x8 pan. I used dehydrated apples that were sitting in food storage and needed to be used up. I just re-hydrated them in some water then drained them and only cooked it for about 25 minutes.

Beef Burgundy I

This is a good recipe. I hardly ever follow a recipe to a "T" so of course I added my own touch. The key to a good beef burgundy is getting a good reduction. I flour the beef and then saute it, after it is browned then I deglaze the pan with some of the wine. I then carmelize the onions lighly and saute the mushrooms, followed by another deglaze consiting of wine and balsamic vinegar. Like others stated it is good in a crockpot after all the ingredients are assembled because it will reduce and thicken.

Peanut Butter Cream Pie

Quick and Easy Brownies

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Excellent recipe. Enough with the praise here is the mods I employed. 1. reduced the cream cheese to 12oz 2. I doubled the sauce but I dont think it is necesary 3. the cornstarch in the sauce I only used 2 TBS cause that will keep it from thickening too much 4. I used 1 loaf of french bread and only cut it into 12 slices and made them almost like sandwiches. 5. I made the cream cheese with a bit of milk and mixed it up to a consitancy that I could spoon it on to the bread I made this the night before and the bread soaked the mixture up fine.

Beef Stroganoff II

My family loved this. I added a small can of mushrooms with liquid, some beef and chicken broth, and some beer to thin the sauce. I also used some elk instead of the beef and regular sour cream. This was easy and turned out well thanks a bunch

Rocky Road Ice Cream

This was really excellent. The marshmallows tend to float to the top of the mixture so wait till it sets a little then stir them in twards the end of the freezing cycle. Yuuummm

Teriyaki Wraps

These were really good. It made more than enough. I didnt have any yellow squash but I did add a can of black beans when I added the rice just to warm them up. I also added some grilled chicken in to the tortilla and everyone just loved them. I will definatly make these again. MMMMMMMM Good
