Spicy Italian Pork Cutlets

Followed the recipe as is except that I used dried parsley. I used savignon blanc for the wine. The sauce tasted great and, surprisingly, you could taste the spiciness. It was a very tolerable 'American-grade' spiciness...but was still at a pleasurable level for spicy food lovers like myself.

Turkey Empanadas Grande

Tasty. I used a pillsbury deep dish pie crust. The meat definitely needs salt or any kind of salt based seasoning. I did notice as I was cooking that the recipe was missing something and my tastebuds confirmed it. Will make again and probably use adobe.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Oh boy! Favorite dessert recipe on this site. If you make this once be prepared to be begged to make it again. Simply exquiste served warm with some Berber's vanilla bean ice cream and champagne.

Strawberry Crepes

Tasted much like a sweet pancake. Batter was a little thick. Recommmend somehow making it less thick, then could squeeze a couple of more crepes from this recipe. Tasted good regardless, so maybe you should just leave it alone.

Candied Chicken Breasts

My friend thought that it was a 5 star. It was good, nice and tender. Nothing wrong, but I just would have preferred a more "aggressive" taste. Maybe adding more sugar will put it over the edge for me.

Pecan Breaded Chicken Breasts

Very tasty and interesting. Don't be shy with the maple syrup. I dipped the chicken instead of brushing the syrup on and the pecan breading had no trouble staying on the chicken during cooking.

I loved this stuff. I used dry cilantro instead of fresh. Was still delicous. Warning: takes the utmost in self-control to keep from finishing the whole pan yourself.

Supreme Strawberry Topping

Yaayeaaah! Topped Chantel's New York cheesecake with this. If you decide to add cornstarch to get it to your desired consistency, remember to dissolve the cornstarch in a few teaspoons of water first or you will get lumps. But it will be delicious regardless!

Breaded Parmesan Chicken

Very, very delicious. I excluded the italian seasoning and I used 3 tablespoons of Kraft Parm Plus garlic herb parmesan cheese. Also instead of stuffing mix, I used grounded unsalted pretzels. Resulted in a taste that had character while being sufficiently spicy yet not salty.
