Molasses Cookies

Added raisins & next time will add a little more flour to make a bit more stiff... I like my molassass cookies to be a bit more chewey. But the flavour for these is awesome.

Wookie Cookies

Although these can't be classified as 'terrible' I still found that I needed to add a lot of additional ingrediants to the mix in order for it to be enjoyable. For a higher star rating I reccomend that you add some cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut flakes, small ammount of cocoa & a smidge of brown sugar.

Amazing Banana Sorbet

Due to the reviews I cut back the sugar a bit. I also added a pinch each of cinnamon & nutmeg, an additional banana a dash of cocoa & a splash of milk. It came out beautifully. Next time I'm going to add some strawberries just to see what happens.

Salmon Patties III

Excellent! I made some changes to suit our tastes & my boyfriend - who loathes fish as though it were covered in plague - couldn't stop raving about them. Traded the potato for extra bread crumbs, added some Thai chilli sauce, garlic & finely chopped peppers. Put it on the BBQ & had a fantastic meal in less then 20 mins.

Garden Tomato Salsa

I would have enjoyed this more without all the cilantro - it just kills the taste of everything else. Next time I'm either going to drastically reduce the ammount or I will forgo the cilantro alltogether. Seriously, it was harsh. The rest of the recipe was excellent. Everything was fresh & delish. Extremely easy to prepare & any leftovers can be used for chicken, fish, blah blah blah.

Wacky Cake VIII

A childhood favorite. I remember baking these things on cold rainy afternoons. When it was done we'd have a warm slice down by the fire & watch scary movies. Great with vanilla icing & hot chocolate.

Fruit Cocktail Cake

Not cool. This was so sweet that I am surprised that I still have any teeth left. The truly odd thing about it was that the sweetness completely lacked a flavour beyond the brown sugar. It just needed something more to it, more fruit, some spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice whatever, and a drastic drop in sugar as well roughly 2 tbs of brown sugar sprinkled on top before baking & a light dusting of icing sugar after baking.

Stuffed Turkey Legs

While this is not a terrible recipe it was honestly not as good as I hoped they would be. I love turkey & was salivating at the thought of trying this out & it just didn't compare to the way I usually make them. It was kind of upsetting.

Lemon Meringue Icebox Pie

I must admit that part of the reason that this came out so badly was because I had never attempted a lemon meringue pie before & did not really know what to expect in preperation. Still, these directions were terrible & the only way to make this pie taste better would be to set it on fire & go buy a good one instead. I shudder every time I remember the taste of it.

Creole Chicken I

Not good. This was lacking in so many ways. It was more like a bland Middle America version of what was supposed to be a great dish. A lot of additional spices, seasonings & veggies were needed before this became somewhat acceptable. We were not impressed & will probably not make this again.

Pumpkin Bread

This was spectacular. I am definately going to make this again & I may try some of the variations that others have suggested as well. I am especially intrigued at the thought of replacing the oil with some apple sauce. I would also like to see what it would be like with a nice mix of raisins & a few chocolate chips added in. This is a very moist cake & as each oven varies I reccomend that you start checking on the loaf at around 55 mins. Cover with foil after 55 mins as it can take an additional 20 mins or so & the foil will help prevent too much crisping.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Roast

This was such a surprise. I am not a huge fan of cranberries, my boyfriend loves them yet doubted how they would taste with pork - this turned out excellently. I added extra salad dressing & a bit of teriyaki sauce & brown sugar. I don't think the cooking times are right though as our was done in 4 hours on low.

Slim Soup

This wasn't bad. But lets face it, this soup is more meant as a way to keep an eye on weight more than it is on taste - which isn't bad, just different. Next time I am going to try some different veggies. I will also try halfing the garlic (a bit overpowering) and using a can of italian seasoned tomatos.

Not too shabby, however I decided to mix some of the brown sugar in with the layers of apples to make it a bit sweeter. Otherwise it's a pretty good recipie.

The Ultimate Brownie

These were pretty good. I had to cut back on a bit of cooking time since my oven heats higher then most & the brownies would have burned otherwise. Still this was a very easy recipe to follow.
