Day Before Mashed Potatoes
I've made these many times and they're ALWAYS a crowd pleaser. Since my time is usually short (two toddlers 18 months apart), I don't even peel the potatoes. Also, I don't bake these. I just serve them right after I mush everything together (in the crock pot). That way they are still moist (and saves time). They taste great reheated with cheese and bacon on top. Oh, By the way...if any of you are new to cooking, DON"T try to "mash" these in a food processor!!! They end up being a gluey mess. I learned this the hard way as I was trying to cook an impressive meal for my in-laws when I was first married. They certainly made an impression! Just not the one I was going for! :)
