Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding
This deserves 5 stars even though I changed one thing.....No Bananas! I was looking for a way to use up french bread and I have out of this world dark chocolate blocks that I cut into small chunks. I don't think I expected a dessert as good as this if you wanted to know, you can omit the bananas and it still (more than) works!

Scandinavian Almond Bars
You know what.....these were REALLY GOOD. I only made them because they didn't look too hard and I had almonds to use up. I made them to take to the In-Laws, but ended up snatching a few for my own personal stash. Surprisingly elegant considering their simplicity. And yes, a pizza cutter does make the slicing bit easier. Great cookie to have with coffee or tea...and the extras (if you have any) can be stored in the freezer. Just let them sit out for a bit to thaw (doesn't take long).

Lena's Pasta Fazul
Easy, Basic ingredients, Healthy and Filling! And the best bit is both husband and son liked it...I mean my 6 year old son ACTUALLY ate it! This is a boy that does not combine food together, like veggies or beans in pasta...This time he picked out the beans but then reluctantly ate them anyway. I only made this because I had the ingredients and was feeling lazy. Will make again, definitely. By the way, I added a bit of smoked bacon, because I had it. They both noticed that flavour and liked it...a lot. Still would be good without.
