Steff's Shepherd Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
I used ground turkey and cream of potato soup, I actually thought this dish was better as a leftover than when it came out of the oven. Next time I think I will use ground beef or chuck and corn.

Peanutty Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
Wow, this was so easy to make and so good! Next time I think I will add some peanut butter chips along with the peanut butter/chocolate chips to give it a more peanut butter taste.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
I made this (among other goodies) for Christmas presents and it was a hit! Next time I am going to try and mix the nuts in when I pour the carmel over the popcorn - otherwise all of the nuts sink to the bottom of the popcorn making it harder to get a good mix of popcorn and nuts.

Picadillo

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
I have made this recipe a lot and everyone loves it! I use the cumin and coriander. The capers seem to make it better and I also found cooking it for at least an hour is better.

Cucumber Potato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2008
This recipe is a hit! I took it to one barbecue and have been asked to bring it again. I couldn't find cucumber ranch either so I cut up the cucumbers in small pieces and added them to the salad. This salad definitely benefits from overnight refrigeration.

Simple Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
This recipe is so easy to make! I got raves when I made it for Easter dinner. I sprinkled lemon juice over the artichokes before mixing them in and added a little garlic salt. I baked it in a glass bread dish and it took a little longer to warm up, about 10 minutes more.

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2006
This recipe is awesome - there's hardly any way you can mess it up! I used walnuts instead of pecans and forgot the poppy seeds the first time, it was still great.

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2006
These meatballs are great! They don't fall apart and there is not a lot of mess on the stovetop because they are oven baked.
