The Best Relish I've Ever Had

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2014
Awesome relish! (But maybe a little too sweet) I skipped the turmeric but did everything else as per the recipe. Will definitely be making this again.

Very good. I added olives to mine but everything else stayed the same.

Beer Can Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2013
Great except that my grill never takes the amount of time called for in the recipe. I usually end up covering it with foil after about 30 minutes to keep the skin from burning and remove it from the grill after 45-55 minutes.

Chicken Spaghetti III

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2013
I thought this was a lttle too cheesey. Maybe a little less velveeta mixed with some other cheeses would be better.

Very tasty and so easy to make! Would go well with chicken or pork too.

Hot German Potato Salad III

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2011
Super good! I used 8 medium red potatoes and thought it was just the right amount for the sauce. My recommendations would be to add a few tablespoons more vinegar and make sure the potatoes are completely cool when you slice them. Next time I will be making mine ahead of time and refrigerating them so they're easier to slice.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
Very good. I found that I had to add a bit more flour to get the thickness I wanted, but other than that it was perfect.

Polish Sausage Kraut Skillet

Loved it!! Creamy, filling, and delicious. I didn't have any sour cream so I substituted a bit of heavy cream and it was fantastic!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: May 25, 2011
Tasty, easy, and I had all the ingredients in the house- it doesn't get any better than that. I served with rice, doubled the marinade and added onions, peppers, and mushrooms to the kabobs for a complete meal.

Easy Baked Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
Turned out great! Slightly sweet but not too much. I didn't have any ginger ale (and I don't really like it) so I swapped it for 7-Up and it was still delicious. The only change I would make next time is to use more pineapple.

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
So easy and turned out very good! I had all the ingredients on hand so this will be a new go-to dinner. The only change I made was to add cubed ham. Who know scalloped potatoes could be so good without cheese?

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
Very tasty and super easy. I used cube steak instead of sirloin and added a some sliced mushrooms also. The peppers were definitely mushy after 7 hours so next time I think I'll add them with 2-3 hours left. I served it with pasta but I think it would be better with mashed potatoes.

Plum-Glazed Country Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
The sauce is excellent and it's a great alternative to barbecue sauce. I haven't tried it yet but I think this would work good in the slow cooker too.

Easy and inexpensive. I added a dash of worchestershire, minced garlic, black pepper, and a little red wine to round out the flavor.

Cranberry Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
Excellent and easy! I thought it was cool listening to the cranberries pop as it cooks. My only changes to the recipe were using half brown sugar and half white and adding a dash of cinnamon.

Coconut Cream Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
Very good, rich, and super easy pie. I used the microwave prep instructions many reviewers suggested and it turned out great. Just remember that if you switch the flour for corn starch you don't need to use as much- corn starch thickens better than flour.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
These were good cookies but they're not any better than most other chocolate chip cookie recipes. The peanut butter and rolled oats add a little something extra but nothing to write home about.

Very good and taste A LOT like the store bought kind. I give the pecans a whirl in the food processor so they're nice and small.
