About this Cook
I'm a 34 yr. old mom of 3 ages 14,11,3.I was married at the age of 16 and have been cooking ever since. My kids are pretty picky so when I make something that they will actually eat I feel I have really accomplished somehting!
My favorite things to cook
I love casseroles. I also love to bake. Breakfast is my favorite meal to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving Dinner at my parents' house. My mom always sends me home with the turkey bones and the next day we have homemade tukey soup.
My cooking triumphs
I have mastered the perfect chocolate chip cookies (at least my family thinks so).
My cooking tragedies
When I was first married I made a pasta salad and my husband got so sick! I don't know what happened- it came out of a box! Anyway he will not eat pasta salad to this day and it happened 18 years ago!

Tasty Baked Meatballs
Wow...that says it all! I followed the recipe exactly and what I got were the best meatballs ever! Very moist, flavorful, and melt-in-your mouth delicious. My boyfriend raved over them and even gave the recipe to his mother. That says a lot! Thank you for the recipe. I will definitely make them again and will probably even try it as a meatloaf.

Red Skinned Potato Salad
I have finally found the perfect potato salad recipe! The potatoes weren't mushy and I think that putting them in the fridge too cool is the key. The only changes I made were to use 1 tsp. of celery salt (my husband can't eat raw celery), omit the salt, and I only used 8 slices of bacon. It was perfect and I will certainly be making this one again! Thanks for the recipe!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches
overall a good recipe. I made a few changes. I used beef broth instead of water and 2 packs of Italian dressing mix. It turned out a little salty for my taste so next time I will use half beef broth, half water and omit the salt. Also too peppery. I will cut that in half next time. I served these on sub rolls with provolone cheese and put them under the broiler for a few minutes. I will make this again.
