Tater Tot Casserole I

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
This is pretty good, but could've used some seasoning or extra flavor. I do like how easy it is to make, and the minimal amount of ingredients.

Mark's English Sausage Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
These were definately delicious! Instead of rolling mine, I cut the dough in 1/2 to have tops & bottoms and sealed the edges with a fork to make them look pretty. I did add the egg to the tops to give them a nice shine. I used mild sausage and added some shredded cheddar cheese to give it a little extra flavor. I also served them with agave nectar, which gave them a nice flavor too. Simple, easy, and very delicious (even my picky toddler loved these!). I will definately make this recipe again!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
I just made and ate one of these. They are probably the best cookies I've ever had, and I will definately be making these again! I followed the recipe almost to the letter, with the only change being that I substituted about a 1/4 cup of coconut inplace of that much chocolate chips. Adult & kid approved here! Thanks for the recipe!

Easy Cheap and Yummy Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
I thought that this was really tasty and super easy to make. I deviated a bit from the original recipe though. I used 1 package of hot dogs and 1 package of polish sausage. I also used 2 packages of corn bread instead of just 1. I also sprinkled some shredded cheese over the top of it once the rest of it was done baking. I'll also be adding some creamed corn to it the next time that we make it, as well as for leftovers this time. It seems a little dry without the creamed corn, but otherwise it's excellent!

Figs Oozing with Goat Cheese

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2007
I reeaaalllly wasn't sure about the goat cheese part of this recipe. I love figs, but wasn't sure how this would turn out. It's absolutely delicious! The goat cheese balances out the figs, and the honey drizzled on it adds the finishing touch. I didn't use the grape leaves and it was still phenominal!

Hot Vanilla

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2006
I hate giving a recipe a bad review but this just didn't do it for me. It had way too much cinnamon & vanilla and not enough sugar. I guess I was expecting a warmed up version of my riceless horchata which uses all of these same ingredients in different quantities, but served cold. Even after thinning this out twice with more milk it was still overwhelming for me.

Chocolate Zucchini Cake I

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2006
We made this recipe as written, with the exception of tripling the chocolate chips and doubling the nuts. It not only came out moist and delicious, it has a wonderful flavor that isn't sicky sweet like a lot of cakes out there. Also - not sure if the last user forgot to add the sugar or what happened, but this cake does have some sugar in it.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2006
I have to admit that when I first made this up earlier today I couldn't understand what all of the fuss was about. I didn't see how this recipe was anything to really write home about. But since then it's been sitting in my fridge, letting all of the yummy flavors meld together, and now I think I'm in heaven! My suggestion is to let this sit either overnight or throughout the day at least - long enough to let the flavors blend. I left out the green pepper and black pepper and this is absolutely divine. I'd definately make this one again!

Thai Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2006
This was pretty good. I loved the peanuty flavors, but was not expecting this to have as much zing to it as it did. The peanut sauce put it a bit over the edge zip wise for me, and I wish that my husband would've cut it in half, as other recommended. We will probably try again, but with half of the peanut sauce. Overall a very good, exotic tasting pizza.

Creamy Summer Crab Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2006
This was the best crab dip I've ever tasted! I too cut the mayo and sour cream in half. I only had 12 ounces of the imitation crab to work with, so I knew I wouldn't need quite as much. I didn't have real mayo, so I used Miracle Whip light and it was still off the charts delish!

Orange Ginger Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2006
This recipe was very tasty. I used the mandarin oranges, added extra cashews (to my liking), and used half of the called for ginger, per the recommendations of the other reviewers. I wasn't sure if I'd like this, but I was impressed.
