Easy Greek Skillet Dinner

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2006
This was an easy, quick, and delicious recipe! My husband is Greek so to kick the taste up a little more I added a Greek seasoning mixture which added a nice taste. I also added the feta cheese into the pan at the end instead of putting it on top. Will make again!

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2006
My husband and I both loved this recipe! I doubled all of the ingredients and added a package of onion soup mix to give the meatloaf itself more taste. I also used apricot preserves because my husband is not a huge pineapple fan. I ended up cooking it for about an hour and then let it broil for a couple of minutes to carmelize the topping a little bit and it was delicious. Definite addition to my recipe collection!

Sylvia's Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2006
This sauce was great! We had it over ribs and pork chops so far and I still have a whole bottle left! I did change a few of the amounts... I used 2 cups of ketchup and 2 cups of BBQ sauce and the rest of the amounts stated in the recipe and I think it came out perfect!

Greek Style Garlic Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2006
So far this is the best marinade I have come across. Chicken had a great taste and would still go with pretty much any side dish! Definite Keeper!

Greek Style Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2006
My fiance liked this one alot. Personally I think there was way too much water and oil in this recipe. I think the potatoes would come out better if you drop the amount of oil to about 1/2 cup, left the water out, and then tossed the potatoes in the mixture. Bake for about 40 minutes and the broil for a couple of minutes to get them a little crispy. Cooking them like the recipe called for they came out very mushy. I actually drained out the liquid half way through and marinated a chicken breat in it. I will let you know how it works as a marinade. 1/23/06 - The chicken came out awesome using this recipe for a marinade... I rate the chicken a 4.5!

Spicy Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2006
Both my fiance and I really enjoyed this recipe. We both love spicy food but this was not so over the top that the flavor is lost. I stored the extra mixture and will definetly use this one again!

Bow Tie Tuna Florentine

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2006
This was a really good recipe... my fiance loved it and he is not a big pasta person! I did add some minced onion and about 2 teaspoons of minced garlic as well. I think the garlic added a very good flavor to the dish! This is a keeper! Thanks!

Greek Lemon Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2006
This was my first attempt at a greek dish and my fiance loved it! He is greek and he said the recipe was perfect, just the right amount of lemon. This is a definite keeper! I do want to mention that instead of canned chicken broth I used real chicken broth from a whole chicken (4.25 lbs) I boiled for the recipe. I then shredded the meat from the whole chicken to add to the soup. I also added 2 teaspoons of Greek seasoning. Lastly, I used a full cup of the veggies instead of the 1/2 cup it called for. Thanks!
