Raisin Sauce for Ham I

Party Shrimp Dip

Amazingly Delicious Prime Rib

Perfect! The only thing I add to the rub is 2 tbsp flour. It gives the coating a really good crunch for added texture

Blackened Green Beans

This is one of the all time great southern side dishes. I can't think of any meat it wouldn't be good with, and I have even eatten all by myself. When I do this I cheat (cooking for one) and use a can of green beans with the amount of bacon, onion and garlic you want, oh, don't forget the pepper.

Easy Devonshire Cream

Oh, so good. Did tweak a bit - a little more sugar and vanilla. Did not whip up firm despite useing stand mixer, but still great, and fantastic topping for the fresh fruit salad. I learned that after chilling the leftovers, the consistentcy was awsome.

The Best Bean and Ham Soup

I can't even describe how good this soup is. The mustard, chili powder, worcestershire, and lemon gives this soup a distinctive taste that leaves you wondering just what made it so good. They all just blended in together without any one ingredient being over powering. You will never go wrong making that his soup. Rave reviews whenever and wherever I take it, and I don't change a thing, unless I'm out of an ingredient. Last time had to sub taco mix for chili powder, no noticeable change in taste. I cry to think of all the ham bones that are thrown out that could have been turned into this great soup P.S. If you like a thicker soup, use masher or immersion blender.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

OMG this was so good. Followed the recipe with no changes. Hey, why ruin a good thing. If you don't have that long to roast it, just follow your favorite roasting method for whole chicken.

Oh my gosh, so good. I made this just for myself and it made so much I ended up sharing with a few neighbors. They all wanted the recipe. And, yes, I went by the recipe with no tweeking (unusual for me).

Summertime Tomato Salad

I can't believe I saw this recipe. I have a Cost Plus shaker salad dressing jar that has recipes on the side. This was the exact recipe. except for added basil. I made it last week for the first time for a dinner party and it was a hit. Especially good served over (or mixed in) cottage cheese

Best Ever Pie Crust

This pie crust is very forgiving. I consider myself an expert chef, who had never done a pie crust right. I made this, and even though I over processed it (too much water,too), it was great. The dough was a bit sticky due to the above, so I rolled it out between layers of wax paper that I had floured.
