It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2006
Chili is such a subjective food, everyone has their preferences. This is a very good chili recipe. The only changes I made are I added the spices to taste and I went with 1 lb ground beef and 1 lb ground Italian sausage. Also used brown sugar instead of white. Yummy!

Shrimp Avocado Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2006
I left out the mayo and bacon and instead used a lowfat bacon ranch salad dressing. This recipe tastes even better after spending a night in the frig.

Feta and Olive Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2006
Served these meatballs on a bed of cooked egg noodles. Made a sauce with cream of mushroom soup, mil, and feta cheese, poured the thick sauce over the meatballs and noodles, and served. Was VERY good. Will make this way again.

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2006
As a cornbread lover I found this recipe to taste great. I cooked it slightly longer than listed, I cooked until a knife cam out clean after inserted into the middle of the dish. I cooked at 350° for 1 hour and 18 minutes. The casserole came out moist and firm, easy to serve, tasted wonderful.

BBQ Chicken Pizza II

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2006
I used a pizza stone, was very good. Next time I plan to get more creative with cheeses to add a bit more flavor. I also suggest using the bbq sauce to taste, can easily get overpowering if too much is used.

Carol's Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2006
A wonderful recipe, I used red grapes and I seasoned with the poulty seasoning to taste..which was slightly less than called for. I found the longer this chills in the frig the better it tastes. I served over a bed of lettuce with some chewy french bread on the side.

Absolute Best Liver and Onions

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2006
a good recipe but not great. I don't think soaking in milk does anything to the liver, then again I like the liver taste.

Egg Salad I

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2006
a good basic egg salad that should please most egg salad lovers. I'm sure everyone could tweak this to his/her own taste. Myself I added a sprinkle of Lowry's season salt and black pepper.

Baked Potato Salad I

Reviewed: May 28, 2006
almost didn't make this as it was a very hot day here and didn't want to run the oven, I'm glad I did though as this was very yummy to the tummy. I used the precooked bacon that you can buy now. Also added a touch of Lowry's season salt.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2006
This recipe should be better named "A Peanut Butter Lover's Heavan" I crushed up a GOOD brand of graham crackers in the food processor, melted everything in the microwave. Instead of a 9x13 pan I used a 9x9 pan to make extra thick bars. A very good recipe, not met anyone who did not like them, have lots of milk on hand. Very rich and tasty.

Very good recipe, like this much better than linguine with alfredo sauce. I used fresh mushrooms and added extra. Made some crusty french bread, a great meal.
