Yummm! I made these as "pizza" pretzels for dinner. I combined parmesan cheese, garlic POWDER,(garlic salt can make it too salty.), and Italian seasoning. After brushing my pretzels with melted butter I pressed them into the parmesan mixture and served with pizza sauce for dipping. It was soooo good.
I also didn't want to make all 12 pretzels at once so I refridgerated 1/2 of the dough in a zip lock bag for later. I laid the bag on the counter to get closer to room temp. for a few hours and then shaped, let rise and bake. They turned out just as good as my first batch!
