Potato Soup IX

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
Very good as is but for our tastes I added 3 ounces of Cream Cheese with chives which made a thick texture so no mashing or blending was needed~ a couple chicken boullen cubes and a few spinkles of cayenne and a packet of precooked bacon bits! Yummmmmmm!

Beef Stroganoff II

Reviewed: May 8, 2008
Made this once before exactly as recipe described (except I didn't drain the meat because the onions need something to sautee in & I added garlic & a little milk)and it was very good except the meat was not as tender as we would have liked. Made again today....I was out of cream of mushroom so used cream of chicken and let it simmer very low for 30 minutes and it was awesome and cut with a fork tender. So I guess if you simmer just a few minutes longer , you will get the desired tenderness that many have complained about in their reviews. Awesome, easy recipe. Thanks for sharing it!!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2006
Yum~Yum. Made exactly as directed , hubby devoured it!Leftovers were even better the next day. This one is a keeper for my weekly menu. For those not liking the salty taste.....throw in a raw quartered potato for the last couple will soak up the saltiness.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2006
Awesome !! It is now my "NEW" chili recipe. Only thing I did different was change to pinto beans because we do not like kidney beans. I used Pace chunky hot salsa and "wa-hoo", did we feel the heat! Yum and thanks for sharing this easy and good recipe.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
Just Yummy !!I used Bertolli spaghetti sauce(Basil & Tomato) only thing I did differently was add some minced garlic. We love garlic!! Quick fix for lasagne cravings without all the work. Pan gets a bit full and boils over so I luckily had put mine on a cookie sheet. Also if you cover with won't dry out as others have mentoned. Hubby loved it and so did I ! Thanks Colleen for a easy and tasty recipe.
