Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
i cooked this for a group of hungry college students and they absolutely loved it! I substituted parmesan cheese for the Muenster cheese, and didn't add the sharp cheddar at all. It was great!

Cinnamon Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
My family loved this recipe. I used half sugar/half splenda and half all purpose flour/half Whole wheat flour. Everything turned out great and we really enjoyed it.

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2008
Our family makes these all the time. I use 1/3 to 1/2 slice of bacon as to not find the bacon flavor too overpowering. Also, I put a large pinch of brown sugar on top to add a little different taste. I also use 1/3 fat or fat free cream cheese and when cooking for my diabetic grandfather, I use brown sugar Splenda he so can enjoy also.

Pork Marinade

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
My pork tenderloin turned out great!! I used BBQ sauce rather than the chile sauce and regular mustard instead of dry. I cooked my 2 pd tenderloin covered w/ foil on 225 covered for 35 minutes and then turned it up to 425 for about 20 minutes.. It moist and just great. Even my very picky hubby got seconds and all 3 of my kiddos ate without complaining!!!

Resurrection Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2007
They tasted great, but like others have suggested, wrap the extra triangle around the roll. All the mess in the pan from leaking is not fun to clean up!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2006
My family loves these cookies. We usually make a double batch and roll 1/2 of batter into a log, wrap in plastic and foil and freeze. Then we have our own slice and bake cookies. Try adding pecans too, they're great!

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2006
Our family loved this dish! I changed a few things...boiled a whole chicken and deboned it and used the broth for the soup. --I cooked the onions and garlic in the broth and then added back the debonded chicken. No tomato soup, added can of rotel w/ green chiles instead of canned tomatoes. And added both kidney and pinto beans. It was great. Try garnishing with sour cream, avacado slices and tortilla chips.

Grilled Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
The wings were good, but I also had trouble getting the sauce to stay on the wings. I didn't use the pepper, because I wanted the kiddos to eat them too. Overall, they were good, but a lot of work.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2006
Overall, these were great cookies. After the first day, they were way too crunchy for my family. They were awesome fresh out of the oven, chewy and just perfect with a glass of milk. However, the following days they were more like eating sweetened bricks. Thus, the 4 stars.

No Bake Cookies V

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2006
My entire family loves these cookies. My family begs for them! I would suggest using 4 TBsp of cocoa, butter rather than margarine, smooth PB and 3 1/2 cups of oats. Small changes but they make a world of difference. I have tried every which way and this is the best. If you do it just right, they set up in about 15 minutes.

No-Fuss Cinnamon Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2006
I have made this recipe for years, it is ALWAYS a hit. I would suggest mixing the sugar and butter, bring to a boil, then pour over the crescents. Sprinkle w/ cinnamon. Forget serving cold, serve hot out of oven. People will beg for more!
