Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
Great! So that the dish would not be too salty, I followed the advice of others and used 1/2 pkg. of the onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken soup and brown gravy mix instead of au jus mix. The leaner the ground beef the better. Will make again.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2008
Great reviews from the crowd I served the other night. I only used 1 chili pepper since mine was so large. I don't think using 2 would have made it overly hot though. Chopped my canned tomatoes in the processor just cause I knew I had a couple of guests that aren't big tomato fans. Will be making this chili many times to come.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
This was a hit with our family, including an 8 year old and a teen. Used a pre-packaged thin crust, 3/4 cup Ranch dressing. Cooked cubed chicken in a mix of 2 TBSP melted butter/2 oz of hot sauce. Drained then marinated cooked chicken in another mix of just 1 TBSP melted butter/1oz hot sauce. Topped with 8 oz. pizza blend shredded cheese. A keeper recipe.

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: May 13, 2007
Very easy and very tasty. I did as other reviewers and swapped the amounts for the balsamic vinegar and soy sauce since I'm a fan of balsamic vinegar. Served this with grilled pork tenderloin and baked sweet potates.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2007
YUM! Used carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, dipped in white almond bark- took a lot more than 3 oz. though. Freezing the formed cake balls for an hour or so before dipping made it super easy.

Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2006
Fantastic recipe. Made these for Father's day and they were a hit. I cooked the meatballs closer to 30 minutes. I only had Italian seasoned bread crumbs on hand so I omitted the Italian seasoning. Keeper recipe!!

White Chocolate Gorp

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2006
This stuff is addictive! I made this for a group and got loads of compliments. I used almond bark in place of the white chocolate (that my local store was out of).

Followed the recipe exactly and it was FANTASTIC. I served it at a party and several guests asked to copy the recipe to take with them.
