Slammin' Salmon

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2010
The flavors were amazing together. I baked it in the oven and did over bake it - I only had one fillet and it should have only gone about 15-18 at 350. These flavors on the grill would be fantastic.

Pork in Green Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2010
Tacos are my husbands fav food -he could eat them every day and he declared the ones made with this the best he has ever had. He could not stop eating them. Absolutely melt in your mouth tenderness and I used a pork loin which is more lean and it was still sensational! The only thing I will do next time is a little less lime and 1 more jalapeno. Good job Pitchfork!

Absolutely loved it! So simple but the flavors are fabulous! I too doubled the spices and the chicken broth and it was the perfect amount of liquid. My husband went back for 2nds, which he never does except for ice cream!

Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
It was a lighter texture than I wanted so I had to add 8oz cream cheese then it was perfect for what I wanted. Everyone flipped. So good on apples and on pumpkin spice cake.

Quinoa Side Dish

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
I could not stop eating it!! Wonderful! I used chicken broth and dried parsley since thats all I had. I used lemon thyme and lemon juice and thats definately what puts it over the top. The subtle lemon flavor is lovely but still lets the unique taste of the Quinoa come through. Highly recommend it.

Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2010
The batter was so light and fluffy, but overall the cake did not have alot of flavor. It all seemed to be in the topping. It might be better with the nut mixture altered with the batter in layers so the flavor is through out. Is is a very pretty cake.

These are a flavorful chewy texture cookie. They were a little greasy, but to be expected I guess. Very enjoyable for how simple they are.

The filling layer was very thin- the picture must be a triple dose. The flavor was decent for the quick aspect.

Quick and Easy Fruit Dip

I was hesitant about the orange juice part and tried it without it first and felt it just needed something else so I added the OJ and oh my word--sensational! That is definately the key ingredient! Everyone loved it and its also wonderful on angel food cake. Everyone wanted the recipe.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
I really liked these. I added almond extract to the jam mixture and that really made it. I did have to much topping on the top so the jam didnt bubble through, which I think is a pretty look. Will use less next time.

Stuffed Shells IV

I thought these were delicious. And very pretty. I followed the recipe without mushrooms as there were mushroom haters in the group. I love the flavor the turkey gives. A nice change from beef.

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
This is amazing!! I made batch after batch for Christmas presents and everyone raved. I used peanuts for the first batch and I forgot them for the next batch and I liked it much better without, which really surprised me. But it really allowed the flavor of the caramel to come out. My oven cooks a little high so I used 325 degrees. I made two half cup batches of popcorn kernals for the perfect amount of popcorn for 1 batch. Beware-- its hard to stop eating this!!

Light and Fluffy Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2009
This is a great quiche. I used half mayo and half plain fat free yogurt and you couldnt even tell. I used the Butter Flakey Crust recipe and that just made the recipe in my opinion. It would not have been as good with a store bought crust-well worth the little effort. I want to add chopped tomatoes next time- it would be a good compliment to the other flavors.
