Grilled Sausage with Potatoes and Green Beans

Made this last night, though not on the grill. Used all the same ingredients and made in a large skillet on the stove. Once the sausage browned a bit and onions were clear, I added a bit of water along with the cut up potatoes. Covered the skillet and let the potatoes cook thru. Very good. A keeper. Oh, and I used Kielbasa...it have great flavor to the rest of the ingredients!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

3 and a half stars. Keep the chicken and the sauce...very good. Forget those dumplings. Just can't get used to that doughy texture and the sweetness of the canned biscuits. Will serve leftovers tonight...cut up remaining cooked chicken, add the leftover sauce, add cooked bacon, mashed potatoes, topped with breadcrumbs and cheddar cheese. Put in casserole and bake. I think this will be a more enjoyable meal.

Deb's Scallops Florentine

Very good and very rich. I didn't pre-boil the scallops, patted them dry and seasoned them with salt and garlic powder. Baked it a bit longer than 15 min. Omitted the bay seasoning and added fresh basil, parsley, chives and garlic powder for a more Italian flavor. 2 T of butter may be enough for the roux. All in all an enjoyable dish.

These were great! Just like Nonna used to make. very moist. If you don't have cake flour use: 1 c of all purpose flour minus 2 T, then add 2 T of cornstarch. Blend well.It works for most recipes. Thanks, Liz for this one.

Zesty Sausage Tacos

Very good. I used flour tortilla instead of taco, layered it with sausage, onions, salsa, and cheese. Rolled it up, then topped with salsa and more cheese. Baked it. A nice change. Served with a plain, green salad. Use a sweet dressing like Russian or French. It complimented the Tex-Mex flavors.

Aussie Chicken

Great recipe! I used boneless chicken thighs and browned the chicken along with the bacon. The taste is 5 star, but the health factors took a star away. Will saute an onion along with the bacon next time instead of using dried onion flakes. This is a keeper. Thanks Rebecca
