Caramel Apple Pie I
this is fabulous!! i had a recipe i used several years ago in an old cookbook given to me as a gift. i moved a couple of times since i received it and it somehow got lost. i search all over the internet for that "perfect" caramel apple pie recipe and i have found it!! i made only a couple of modifications - i used a pillsbury ready crust that i could easily use for smaller pie pans. i did as some had suggested and i used the caramel dip instead of the caramel sauce. needless to say, for my 2nd time ever baking a pie, i was very pleased and my husband was even happier. thank you for the submission - i will be making this often :)

Sausage Pasta
awesome!! after reading some reviews, i made some modifications (as is typical for me). i used sweet sausage; i coarsely chopped fresh spinach and added it to the sausage mixture to heat through while the pasta drained; i used petite diced tomatoes and added a squeeze of tomato paste; i made 1 cup broth using granulated bullion. i simmered until the broth reduced a little. i will add this to the rotation! my husband, who isn't fond of spinach had three helpings! thank you for this recipe - it's a great base for a great meal!

Herb Roasted Pork
i wish i could give this 10 stars! i made this last night when i was having my church's youth pastor and his family over for dinner. bro mike (as we all call him) told me i'm not a cook but a chef. that's the first time i've ever been told that! and his 2 children cleaned their plates too! i made some changes (as i usually tend to do). i probably tripled the recipe for the spice rub. i used a pork shoulder as that was what i had on hand. i used ground sage for the same reason. i also added a packet of brown gravy mix, some water and olive oil to make a nice paste. i didn't make any changes to the glaze. this pork roast was fork-tender, juicy and extremely flavorful! i served it with cinnamon glazed sweet potatoes (found here in the website). made a great combination! i will be making this again for sure!
