Banana Bread IV

I had 3 over-ripe bananas and no brown sugar so I searched and found this recipe. I made a 12-serving size, one loaf and it was delicious. This is the best banana recipe I've ever made.

Sweet Potato Casserole II

This is by far my favorite sweet potato recipe. The first time I made it was for a luncheon at my husband's work. He doesn't like sweet potatoes but tasted it since I had made it. He liked it, had a serving of it and eats it at home when I make it. I boiled and mashed my own potatoes and followed the recipe as written. Thanks so much!

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

I made these for a DAR meeting and everyone loved them. I followed the recipe exactly. I did freeze the peanut butter cups as was suggested and used the paper cups. I used a leveled tablespoon measuring spoon of dough in each cup. That was exactly enough and the recipe made 40 cookies.

Yellow Cake Made from Scratch

I used this recipe to make a pineapple upside down and it was excellent! I followed the recipe exactly, sifting the dry ingredients as someone suggested. This is definately a keeper.

Mardi Gras King Cake

Easy to make and is really good. I doubled the filling as suggested in the reviews. I baked the first cake 20 minutes instead of 30, it was a little hard. I baked the second cake only 15 minutes, until it was golden brown. It was soft like a cinnamon roll. Both were good but I preferred the softness of the second cake.
