Bomb! This will make a great summer recipe for me! I also added minced sweet onion to this recipe and allowed the sauce to warm up a bit on the stove with the drained pasta. I will be making this over and over!

Pork Chops with Delicious Gravy

Very tasty. I just made a few alterations. Instead of honey I used agave syrup. I added freshly minced garlic and fresh cut mushrooms and doubled the sauce. I served with fresh broccoli and pasta. I mixed the extra sauce with the pasta. Delicious :)

This was just ok. The recipe can be better. The custard flavor was lacking, I'm just not sure what, but could definitely use more flavor. I will definitely be experimenting with this recipe to reflect my tastes.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

These were just ok. I think my results were skewed because I used whole wheat flour as it was what I had on hand. I will definitely try this recipe again with white flour.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Very good. I made my own crust and actually forgot to peel the apples, but it still turned out great! I do think I want to work on the filling some and figure out a recipe so the inside isn't as runny, I want my pie to hold up! This was my first apple pie with lattice top!

Hawaiian Bread II

This recipe turned out awesome! I cut the recipe in half and added honey to the warm water/yeast mixture to help activate the yeast. I also turned them into dinner rolls and gave them a light egg wash prior to baking. Made these on Thanksgiving and everyone loved them. I'll definitely be making these again, a perfect bread to make hum bows!

Cornbread Stuffing Southern Style

Absolutely wonderful! I went ahead and made the cornbread the night before so it was easier to work with the next day. I only omitted the green pepper, but kept everything else the same.

Chocolate Surprise Cupcakes

I was just looking for a simple chocolate cupcake recipe and fell upon this one! I didn't do the cream cheese center and these turned out wonderful! Not extremely sweet nor over the top chocolaty. They're quite perfect. :) I even noticed that this was eggless. A nice vegan recipe. I think next time I will even substitute apple sauce for the vegetable oil to make it even lower in fat!

Easy and Good Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

Very tasty. A tad on the sweet side, so I think next time I will reduce the amount of honey. I used a bit of yellow mustard and a bit of stone ground honey dijon mustard. This would be a great dip for chicken strips!

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Nothing exceptional. It was tasty though. I think the chops may have tasted better if they are simmered in the sauce for a while then served with sauce on top.

Peanut Butter Bars I

Tasty! Roommate loved them! Tasted a lot like a reese's peanut butter cup, very rich! Definitely need a glass of milk with these! I made them in the 9x13 pan as noted, but I think next time I will put them in an 8x8 and use less chocolate topping!

Update (3-29-08): Made these again tonight and they turned out the same, WONDERFUL! I will be making these for years to come! ----------------------- VERY tasty! I'll definitely be make this many many more times! I posted pictures of how mine turned out!

Frog Cupcakes

I used a yellow cake mix and my own buttercream frosting. I followed the rest of the instructions for the froggy assembly! Easy to make, very cute, however they do take a little bit of time. Well worth it though!

Strawberries in Spiced Syrup

Not too bad. I had only one pint strawberries so cut the recipe in 1/2. I also only used 1/3 cup sugar and it turned out nicely. I ate mine over chocolate and vanilla ice cream and my roommate ate his over some short bread!

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

The bread tasted good, but it tasted a lot like biscuits (as noted by other reviewers). I've never made or tasted Irish Soda Bread prior to this so I have nothing to compare it to. I will try other recipes on this site and go from there. I baked at 360 for 45 minutes and made my own buttermilk (milk + white vinegar) as I didn't have any.
