Grilled Lemon Yogurt Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2012
I served this at a ladies luncheon and it was a huge success. The only difference is that I cut the chicken breasts into strips and skewered them. So tender and flavorful. Huge Success!

Candied Yams

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
I fixed these for some skeptics who pride themselves on their Candied Yams. They asked me for the recipe. I did slice them into bite-size pieces and then drained them until dry. I mixed brown sugar with a dash of cinnamon, nutmeg and ground cloves then sprinkled them over the 1st layer of yams, then followed w/ small butter slices. I then repeated the process for another layer. Baked it in a covered nonstick sprayed pan for 20 min, then added the marshmallows and baked uncovered until they were golden. Voila!

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2008
I have now prepared this recipe five times and they are wonderful. However I have made them with raspberry, boysenberry, blackberry and lingonberry preserves(some with seeds and some not). I also added 2 tsp of apple pie spice to the oatmeal mixture to add a bit of spice; it worked out great! Yummy and a definite hit at brunch, potlucks and as breakfast bars too. Thanks for the recipe, because it is fun to doctor it up.

Roast Pork with Maple and Mustard Glaze

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2005
This was spectacular! I prepared it according to directions and because my oven was broken I cooked it in the crockpot for 4.5 hours on high. This has become a family favorite and so easy to make. (Great served over rice.)

Simple Texas Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2005
I absolutely love this recipe! It is so easy & super fast to make. My family adores salsa and I can't afford to buy so much and this recipe was rated by my picky family as BETTER THAN THE STORES!!! We have used the recipe many times now with many people and it is a hit with everyone. I wouldn't change a thing in the recipe. Thank you for submitting it!
