Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage and Tortellini Soup

We loved this recipe and it's in the regular rotation. Based upon household health and preferences, we choose to use lowfat sweet pepper italian chicken sausage Thin & Trim) and salt free chicken broth. This is a tasty and comforting soup... especially on cold rainy evenings.

Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup

Very hearty and healthy soup, perfect for a cold evening. My family are meat lovers so I have added diced rotisserie chicken in my first two batches, most recently, diced leftover Thanksgiving turkey. It gets eaten quickly!! I have used cannellini beans rather than garbanzo and use no salt added diced tomatoes and low sodium fat free chicken broth. I also add a cup of diced fresh mushrooms. I LOVE soup but find the store bought ready made soups too high in sodium. Definitely saved this keeper to my recipe box!

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

We have tried this simple but delicious recipe several times however we always grill it. Perhaps we just appreciate vinegar or grilling it outside does not permeate the house with a cooking vinegar smell, but we think this is delicious as written and so easy. Definitely saved to favorites!

Goat Cheese Stuffed Lamb Burgers

We have done this recipe twice now. Prep is easy and it's flavorful with spices and fresh herbs. My husband and I really love both key ingredients, lamb and goat cheese so we had to try this one. Very good with pita and homemade tzatziki sauce. Thanks for sharing LeeLeeCooks! It's in the rotation now!

Shoyu Chicken

We tried this last evening for the first time, and my husband cannot stop raving how fantastic these thighs are! This is a KEEPER!! And so easy. I typically read several reviews to get ideas for any tweaking so I listened to the many who said marinate this the longer, the better. I followed recipe verbatim for first try. I adjusted the serving amount to 4 portions and used 6 boneless skinless thighs. This actually allowed us leftovers. I also used Splenda Brown Sugar to cut the sugar content and did use all the optional spices which all appeal to us. Not to spicy at all. When I did remove the thighs to a plate for grilling, I reduced and thickened the remainder of the marinade on stovetop with small amount of corn starch. My husband used this during grilling to baste. This is a DELICIOUS recipe!! Thanks so much to "The Big E" for sharing!!

Slow Cooker Butter Chicken

I have used the All Recipes website for years, and this is my first time to be so 'wowed' I am posting a review. This Butter Chicken was DELICIOUS! My husband said 'This will be part of our regular rotation for sure." and that was from the aroma before tasting it. I used 6 boneless skinless thighs rather than 4 as indicated in recipe. I found all the spices needed at Whole Foods, took several reviewer suggestions and I strung the 15 Cardamom Pods together with needle and thread which did make discarding them after quite easy. I also added the 0% fat Greek Yogurt at the end just before serving with small amount of jasmine rice and warm Naan bread. Amazing! Will do this regularly. I will experiment with crushed/diced tomato in lieu of tomato paste next time just to see difference. I also opted for Lite Coconut milk. My slow cooker has a brown/sauté option in addition to slow cook, so next time I will do the entire preparation in the slow cooker rather than initial sauté of chicken, onion and garlic on stovetop.
