Brat 'N' Tot Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
Well, we used the idea and ended up making it different. We kept the sausage in the casings, cuz my daughter is picky. :( We also added green beans. :) But she ate it! Yay!

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
it was good, the brown sugar was weird, though. Not something I want on my meatloaf...

Baked Macaroni and Cheese I

Reviewed: May 4, 2006
Pretty bland. I wish I would have read the "most helpful" reviews before I prepared that one because it really could have used some salt & pepper. I didnt like it with bacon and neither did my kids. But, for my first try at homemade mac & cheese- I learned what not to do.

Mother's Pot Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2006
Finally my losing streak is over I made a good pot roast! The meat was tender and tasty. But no one liked the "gravy".

Tater Tot Casserole III

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2006
That was exactly the type of tater-tot recipes I was looking for. Very yummy...a little too onion-y because of the tater tots already have some flavor, but I liked it. Will make again.

A Jerky Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2006
Just OK. Didnt taste like anything "jerk" I've ever had. Used a jalapeno instead of habanero, not hot enough. Forgot to save sauce for serving. Maybe thats why it was so blah.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
Mrs. Sigg knows what she's doing. That was the best homemade snickerdoodle I've had. Bake for exactly 8 min. Put them on a wire rack right away, dont leave them on the baking sheet. And remember to coat them well with cinn and sugar. Perfection!

Can't Get Enough Caramel Cookies!

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2006
Kinda tastes good (but how couldn't it-its butter and brown sugar) and easy to make. But they don't look very good and the oatmeal is too chewy.

Baked Pineapple Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2006
YUM* Great recipe. Pretty sweet, though. Next time I make it I'll serve it for brunch instead of dinner. With ham, of course.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2006
I made this first about a month ago and forgot to rate it. I've made it several times since then and made it different every time. Its super yummy and cheap, too for skinny-wallet-times. I added some baby carrots and thickened it a little and we ate it just like soup with crackers. Winter comfort food. This recipe is part of my base menu from now on....

Brown Sugar, Mustard-Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2006
I used regular brown sugar and 1 c. not 1 1/4c. It was weird to spread on b/c its real thick. Maybe it was the mustard(Inglehoffer). It bubbled up alot during cooking. Im glad I lined my baking pan with foil. Came out pretty tasty. :) My family ate it up! and they're picky!

Great flavor. Interesting mix of ingredients, very good on pork. Didn't "fall apart" like I thought it would though.

Linda's Fake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2005
Yum! I used chicken thighs without skins. They were so moist and delicious! We had freinds over and everyone raved! I didn't have a rack to cook it on, so I used my broiler pan and it worked great. *Make sure you let the butter cool some before you add it to the milk and egg mixture.

Simple Savory Pork Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2005
That was so good. Something about it was a little too salty and if you don't like rosemary much don't try this recipe. But we really liked it. The roast came out perfect with this crusty outer layer(I used dried rosemary, not fresh) and moist and flavorful. Will make again.

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2005
OMG! That was sooo good. With the leftovers, I made chicken salad- Yum! I made it again and forgot the garlic,, definitely needs the garlic. P.S. I put it in the slow cooker all day on low. It was so tender, it fell all apart. Was yummy, but not much to look at.

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2005
Chicken was very moist. Could have had more flavor though, maybe it was the BBQ sauce. Will make again. Was pretty simple, too. 11/29/05- Ive made this recipe over and over, It always turns out delicious.
