Basic Ham and Bean Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2013
I didn't put in onion, and instead of chopping the ham I put it in the food processor. It flavors the broth better and ham in every spoonful. I use to have to process the meat for my dad since he couldn't chew the ham and continued to do it after he passed away because everything has more flavor with ham.

Scalloped Potatoes with Ham and Bacon

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2013
The only thing I did different is instead of cubing the ham I put it thru the food processor. You get ham in every bite and it seems to flavor the potatoes even better. I tried it both ways but processing the ham is the best way. I also do the ham this way for ham and bean soup.

Cool Whip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2013
Tried this recipe today. Cookie is a really soft cookie. Taste is good, but the softness was too much. I even baked the last batch a little longer but they were still too soft for me.
