Pesto-Chicken Club Wrap

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2012
these were pretty good. I could not find the Pesto Cooking Creme. I bought chive cream cheese and mixed a little pesto mix in it. I also made up a little quacamole to put on it. Yum.

Awesome Honey Pecan Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
My family loved this recipe. I cut a pork tenderloin up and pounded the slices a little thin. I did add a splash of soy sauce and white wine. After I made the sauce I put my meet back in the pan with lid and let it simmer on low for 5 minutes... YUM!! The meat was so tender and not super sweet. A great new way to use Tenderloin instead of just roasting the whole thing. THanks!!!!

Swedish Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
My family loved these meatballs. I used ground turkey instead of beef. I am only giving 4 stars because of the bouillon cubes. they gave the sauce sort of a weird artifical taste. I think with a good beef broth this will be a 5 star dinner.

Beer Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2008
These were light, fluffy and very good. I used Mic Utra with Lime beer and it gave it a nice little lime flavor. I made some fruit compote instead of using syrup. Yum! Will make again and try rootbeer.

All Day Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
This is pretty good. Here is the tricks I found. Spray the crock pot with cooking spray first, I did not cook my noodles. I just put then in the crock hard. After 3-4 hours on low they were cooked and it was all creamy. If you keep your crock pot on longer, the whole thing will start to dry up, but I just added a bit of milk and it was fine. Now was this the best mac n cheese I ever made, no... but I give it a big thumbs up to make for a crowd.. no oven and can do it ahead of time.

Pork Chops with Sour Cream and Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
I changed this but it was wonderful in the end. I spread some dijon mustard on each chop then dredged it in a but of flower with garlic and onion powder in it. Then I browned the chops in a little olive oil. Then I mixed up the sour cream and soup. But I added some minced garlic, onion powder, dash of worcestershire and a little diet coke. (I prefer non-diet soda with my meat, but did not have any) The soda acts like a tenderizer. I took my chops out of the pan poured the cream mixture in and scraped the bits off the bottom. Then I put the chops back in the pan and with a lid on pan I put the whole thing in the oven on 350 for an hour. Oh my gosh, yummy...tender and great flavor. I served over egg noodles.

Dry Rub for Ribs

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
This rub is wonderful. I cheat a bit with my ribs. I boil then the night before then put the rub on the ribs and let them list in the frig overnight. Then for dinner the next day I grill them on low and seal in the flavors. At the end of grilling I put a very light coating of b-b-q sauce. However these are wonderful without the sauce. I boil the ribs because I don't have the hours to slow cook them so they are super tender.

Guacamole Cilantro Lime Cheeseburger

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
great burger. I left the tomato out like many other reviewers. The burger was moist and the quac was wonderful. I was a bit worried because the chili powder really made the qauc look ugly. However it did taste good.
