Chantal's New York Cheesecake
I made this last week for my hubby's bday. I followed the instructions to the T. No water bath like all the reviews had suggested. My cheesecake rose and cracked, I wasn't too upset because I had made a strawberry rasberry purée for the top so you couldn't see it. My husband Loved it! He said it was delicious , me not so much. I couldn't pin point what it was that wasn't making me do back flips. It was good but not great. Not 4,000 reviews 5 star great. Sunday my mother inlaw asked if I would make the cheescake again because she loved it. I was reluctant but decided to please her, this time the only things I did different was add a Lil sugar to the crumbs and candied pecans yum! And I also did the water bath. Oh mY GoodNess!!!!! It was like heaven, creamy velvety smooth melt in my mouth awesomeness everyone went absolutely bananas! This recipe is definitely now a keeper and 5 star worthy! So glad i gave it a second chance.

Jay's Jerk Chicken
Made this recipe for my moms carribbean themed birthday party. I change the servings from 4 to 40 I think it was a bit off it called for what seemed to me too much green and white onion so I added to my liking. Everything else I followed to the T except I didn't remove the seeds from my chili (we like our food spicy) I let the chicken marinade over night and BBQ it early morning. The party wasn't till 7:00 in the evening so the chicken was made 12 hours ahead of time. I put the chicken in a chafing dish and it warmed up nicely. Everyone absolutely loved it!!! I got so many compliments! I'm making it again tomorrow night, can't wait to eat it right off the grill I bet it will be so much better.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes
These pancakes were so good and fluffy!!! I followed the recipe almost exactly, the only thing I did different was use vanilla soy milk instead of regular milk since that was all I had. No one could tell the difference! This recipe is simple and delicious, definitely a keeper! Thnx for sharing. Btw I made an account just to write a review that's just how good it is!
