Cornbread Stuffing Southern Style

An amazing recipe. I have made this 3 times now and have decided to make the following changes. Only 2 1/2 cups of broth needed. I also put the stuffing back into the pan and bake in the over for about 20 min. to brown the top. I agree with others that this is sweeter then I would of liked but have grown to like it that way. I add a bit more spices to help c/a the sweetness. I add fresh chives as well which adds some nice flavor. Makes it a bit savory. Very good recipe. I think all will enjoy. My company and I always do!

Banana Bread V

Hhhmmmm...not sure why so many liked this recipe?! I'm not saying it was terrible but I sure didn't think it was Great! It was a bit bland for me. I followed the recipe exactly. I love bananna bread and have tried about 15 different recipes but this is not one I will make again. Not sure what was missing but something was not right for me!

Basic Cheesecake

Okay this is for sure a 5 star recipie! A couple things though. If you do not add your own flavoring it can be pretty boring. I added lemon extract, lemon juice and lemon zest. I served it with ras puree. I also left out all the spices for the crust. Another time I made it I used sugar cookies for the crust. That was wonderful! As far as cracks go..LEAVE int he over for a couple hours after you turn the oven off. I never get cracks and I always follow that rule. Also, I had the oven on 340 and only cooked it with the oven on for 30 min. Left it in the oven for another 2 hours. It will continue to cook in the heat just don't open the door! Great recipie!

Lemon Pasta Sauce

Very very good sauce. My husband is greek and loves lemon as do I. I added lots more lemon juice and zest. I did not have the beef broth so I used chicken instead. I think we have a winner. Thanks Holly

Easy Cajun Jambalaya

I made this last night for a potluck dinner my husband and I went to. Everyone loved it! I did make a few changes. I added jalapenos, okra and shrimp! I also added lots more spices and hot sauce. It was more like a gumbo than a traditional jambalaya but oh so good. I will add this to my list of must makes! Thanks Grant.

Thai Peanut Chicken

I was very excited to try this recipe as my husband and I love Thai food. But I have to say this was not Thai at all. I followed the recipe exactly and it was way salty and tasted only like peanut butter. I will not be making this again. If you do make this make sure to use low sodium soy sauce and less of it.
