These are the bomb!! Soooo easy too. ADDED to my review on the second round: Gone in a day and a half. Making these for Dad next. Maybe fewer onions, although they were gone too!

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2015
MADE GLUTEN FREE IT'S GREAT. Just use an 18 oz can of gluten free cream of mushroom soup and a little milk, couple Tbsps. Make sure your ham is GF and you're good to go. I did find, as others did, that 4 hours in the crockpot didn't cut it. Transferred to oven for the rest of the cooking. If I'd started earlier the slow cooker would have been nice. It was awesome and will do again!

Simple Time Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2014
Awesome! I do it to chicken breasts, turkey steaks and pork chops. I don't use the parsley. I mix the butter and mayo together, smear a big spoonful on each piece of meat, sprinkle with the seasonings and top with a pile grated cheddar. SO easy!! The boys always ask for more.

Chicken Carbonara with Creamy Parmesan Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2014
Followed recipe fairly close. I used much less red pepper flakes, dry wine instead of grape juice and 4 cloves of garlic. Turned out wonderful would make it again!

Chicken Mushroom Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2014
Fantastic! The boys all loved it. Very flavorful and comforting. I did put a small lump of arborio rice in the bowl first instead of thickening.

Creamy Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2014
I love this website, you can type in ingredients that you DON'T have and find a recipe. I was out of powdered sugar and eggs, so that nixed a lot of frosting recipes for me. This frosting was great just make sure everything is cold before you whip it all together.

Bacon Explosion

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2014
Wow this was great! I made a few changes but not enough to really throw off the recipe. I used 1 lb of ground beef and 1 lb of ground pork sausage, no garlic and no spice rub. The child and I aren't spice nuts. In the end, Dad said "More BBQ sauce!" I had added 1/2 cup to the meat mix, maybe more next time. Also, I baked mine in the oven at 350 for 2 hours and 45 minutes on a roasting rack, serious drippings!! Use a meat thermometer to get 165 degrees. I would definitely do this again. Serious meat lovers meal.

Easy Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
Awesome and easy! I did saute some garlic with the onions and added some Italian seasoning (just a little). You'd never know there was vodka in this.
