Smothered Filet Mignon

This was an excellent recipe. I'm not a huge blue cheese fan, but it mixes well with the other flavours and isn't too overpowering.

Chicken Marsala

Very good recipe. I had to hold it warm for about an hour, so a lot of the sauce cooked awwy, but it tasted good anyway.

Beef and Wine Soup with Dumplings

I made this last night, and it was a big hit. We ate our soup with a baguette, which is a good replacement for the dumplings, which were too runny and soggy. I'd put in mushrooms next time.

Chocolate Caramel Nut Pie

Very rich but so good. Got rave reviews at a dinner party I hosted. I had to modify a few ingredients and cooking times due to ingredient availability, but it worked really well.

Jamaican Spiked Chicken and Rice

This recipe was okay-- a little too much of the same flavour, though. I prefer just regular mushroom cream sauce over my chicken and rice. Also, you might want to remember to drain the chicken after cooking it in the pan-- otherwise flambeing could become a little dangerous.

Island Shrimp and Rice

I served this last night, and it was pretty good, if a little bland. Perhaps the addition of chopped red pepper or more cayenne would liven it up.

Zippy Corn Chowder

Thai Grilled Chicken with Sweet Chile Dipping Sauce
