Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
This really is a great marinade. London Broil was on sale so I used that instead of flank steak. I'm not a big fan of London Broil but this marinade was so good it made it taste great! My whole family couldn't stop eating it. Thank you for a recipe that will be part of my weekly dinners. Oh and BTW I used the suggestions and used Basalmic vinegar.

Stuffed Strawberries

Reviewed: May 17, 2007
This is a great recipe, however I am a firm believer that most things taste better with chocolate! So after stuffing these I then dipped them into chocolate and then let them set up in the fridge for about an hour (my family finds this part the hardest!)When I served them at a party most people where expecting just regular chocolate dipped strawberries, everyone was very pleasantly surprised.

Persimmon Bread II

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
This is a good recipe and like all good recipes takes personalization well. As advised from other reviews I used 21/2cups of brown sugar (3 cups of white seemed like too much).I add 1/2tsp of ground cloves and 1/4tsp of ground ginger. I also added an extra 1/2 cup of persimmon and left out the water. Used 6 small loaf pans sprayed with Pam w/Flour and they came out great. A friend thought butterscotch chips in it would be good I was thinking cranberries.

Macaroni and Cheese Salad

Reviewed: May 30, 2005
I only tried this because it got such good reviews, sounded a little odd to me. However, I took it to a party and everyone loved it. I did make one change, I used a cajun spice mix rather than Beau Monde spice. I did use the same measurments and again it came out great. A potluck winner.

Macadamia-Crusted Sea Bass with Mango Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2004
Living next to the ocean in California I'm always looking for new good fish recipes and this one was very tasty!! I used Halibut and it came out great. Also, used a tropical salsa for the cream sauce and as it was cooking I used a stick blender to puree it. Gave it a little bit more kick.
