Chicken and Pasta Casserole with Mixed Vegetables
After reading other reviews, I added probably a cup or cup and a half of organic cream to the casserole. Unfortunately I did not have mixed vegies on hand but got by just fine with broccoli. Also, I cut up a whole chicken (again because that is what was on hand) instead of just the chicken breasts. I made this for a crew of men that I feed everyday, and they thought it was great.

Hamburger Jazz
I used wild rice instead of white. Worked great, but had to cook it a bit longer. Another reviewer added a little green bell pepper and worcestershire sauce so I tried that as well. Also, I used cheddar and Mexican Style cheese (didn't have motz on hand). The guys really liked it and went back for seconds.

Potato Klubb (Norwegian Potato Dumplings)
Grew up on this (my dad was full Norwegain and mom was 3/4) living in North Dakota. We always made Klubb the day after having a ham dinner. Mom would save the ham bone for making Klubb; used it in the boiling water to give it flavor, and leftover ham was used to place inside the dumplings. It was served in a bowl with some of the broth and lots of butter, salt and pepper. Have never tried it with shredded pork, rutabagas, or onion, but that sounds like a good idea too. I eventually became vegetarian, so I make a separate batch just for me and of course skip the meat. For broth flavoring, I add butter, honey, and soy sauce or tamari to the water. Works just fine!
