Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
HOLY MOLY MOIST! I made mine as directed, except I had to bake mine for an additional 45 mins (total 1 hr 45 min), put it straight to freezer and then the frosting, kids ate it up and asked for more.

Easy and Delicious Mexican Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
This came out great, I didn't add bell pepper(didn't have any), only had a 4 pack of chops. Next time I might try with chicken. I liked it, my 3 & 5 year old boys didn't (they do not like anything I try thats new).

Cocoa Banana Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
so yummy! I like many others was looking for something other than banana bread to use up my bananas. I did what another reviewer did, added the plain batter to the pan first(then threw on some choc chips) and then put the coco batter on top. I had 3 very ripe banans and baked it for 25 min. I couldnt wait for them to cool, I was cutting them when they were still warm. I might sprinkle some powder sugar on them. This will be my go to recipe to use up bananas from now on!

Strawberry Cheesecake Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2010
I love cheesecake and this didn't do it for me. Made it as written but no almonds. After I added the pudding mix and milk, it seemed like it needed more mixing, it looked weird, lumpy almost plus I wasnt sure what speed so I did 3 mins on med. I let it sit in the fridge over night and when I tried it, it tasted like bland pudding, with a hint of cream cheese. I will not make again.

Simple White Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
very good, I even ate it without frosting. I didn't change the recipe at all, used an 8x8 pan and baked for 35 min. I can see why this would be very good as cupcakes, no crumbs at all. I will definately keep this and make again.

Cranberry Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2010
my crust layer seemed too thick and after being in the fridge overnight, I could not get the edge pieces out, it was a mess, but the middle pieces came out ok. I like it, but not sure if I will make it again, the combo of cream cheese and condensed milk, seemed like custard to me which I dont really like, then the topping was a bit skimpy, didnt cover the whole top. I put 1/2 in the freezer since I am the only one that eats sweets in the house. I might make it again but with changes, and less bottom crust, more top layer

Louisiana Sweet Potato Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
anything my picky 4 yr old will eat gets 5 stars. I had pureed sweet potatoe in the freezer, which I'm not sure how much, about a cup, I cut the recipe in half and added vanilla and apple pie spice since I had no nutmeg. These were super moist and so yummy! I will make these again, maybe trying pumpkin next time

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2009
I thought there was way too much milk, when I had this mixed together. I had to add bread crumbs. They came out good. I liked them but my kids(4 & 2) did not, but they don't eat anything.

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
I followed recipe exactly and added 1 teaspoon of vanilla after reading other reviews, these were so good! I gave some to the neighbors so I would not eat them all! I will definately make these again, maybe with chocolate chips or raisins.

Two Step Creamy Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 2, 2009
Awesome!! This was so easy. I put about 6 oz of the whipped topping. I licked the bowl and the spoon. We picked strawberries yesterday and I slice them up to put on top. Then I went to the store and bought more cream cheese and cool whip. Other reviews are correct, this is not as rich as baked cheesecake, but who cares, its yummy!!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Hubby said this was great. I put Old Bay on it before broiling and also added garlic powder to the cheese/butter mix, fantastic!

Spinach Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2009
I thought these were ok. I tried to use bread crumbs instead since no stuffing, only used 1 cup and 2 eggs. My 1 year old ate a few and my 3 year old didn't want to try them (which happens with everything). I will try it again, but with changes from other reviews.

Golden Sweet Cornbread

I was looking for a recipe to make real quick, this was the 1st one to come up, I had all the ingredients and went with it. I made muffins, a dozen. I love them! My 2 year old son loves them too!

Frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Balls

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2008
I split the recipe in half since it is just me eating them. The dough was real crumbly, but if you wet your hands often when rolling the dough it sticks together better. They are good, they did not get too frozen, but then who wants to bite into hard dough?

Pretty Chicken Marinade

I left out the liquid smoke, used boneless skinless thighs and broiled them. My picky 2 year old ate it up and asked for more. They were great!!
