Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
Great recipe! I spread my florets on a cookie sheet, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with Montreal steak seasoning. Tossed, roasted and then sprinkled with parm cheese before serving. Skipped the lemon. Yum!

Garlic Parmesan Orzo

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
Very easy and tasty, although mine could have used a tad more milk/liquid to make it a little more creamy and little less sticky.

Pork Roast with Thyme

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
I made this recipe in the crock pot with the same directions, with the exception of one added shallot. My boyfriend really liked it, I thought it was good but not great. No major problems with vinegar smell.

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
I rubbed the seasoning on 4 boneless pork chops and let them sit in the fridge for a couple hours before cooking, using a can of low-sodium beef broth instead of the bouillon. We loved this recipe, but found it a little salty - would definitely reduce the salt next time. The gravy was really yummy on mashed potatoes!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2009
My boyfriend LOVES this recipe. He does not, however, love onions so I used 1/4 cup of onion flakes instead. The first time I made it, I used frozen chicken breasts and added chicken broth, which made it a little too watery. The second time I still used frozen chicken, but omitted the broth, which worked better. I also added some herbs (parsley, sage, rosemary) the second time. One can of biscuits is plenty for us, and I cooked them for about 45 minutes. Thanks for a great recipe!
