Very good lasagna! Followed the recipe, some reviewer tips and couldn't help using low fat cheeses and whole wheat noodles. No one could tell! Had lots of compliments. After reading the reviews I also did not boil the noodles but let them sit in hot tap water in my soon to be lasagna pan. I was nervous about that, but to my surprise they turned out perfect! PLus working with stiffer noodles ia so much easier, nice and straight...no sticking and easier to spread on. Good trick!
Also added a pinch of nutmeg to the ricotta.
The biggest problem for me was the salt.I was leary about adding all the salt and did find it too salty. It overpowered the other flavors so i will cut the salt by more than half next time. I also ground up the sauce just a little with a hand mixer right in the pot. Don't do it too much cause some chunks are good. I had some sauce leftover for another pasta dish too! Thanks!
