This has really been a great Saturday.  Went to grocery early this morning and picked up the necessary items to make Best Baked Chicken Wings which I found in my new issue of Cooks Country,  Oct/Nov Page 20.  Made the Smokey Barbecue sauce to go with them and we had them during the first quarter of the GA Dogs taken it to the SC Gamecock.  I guess I will have to start serving what every the other team is for GA, which could be interesting.  Will have to work on that idea.
Also made the cookies by Cherios Coconut and Lemon Creme Filled Cookies sandwiches for Lisa's tennis match and will have to see how they go.  If you do make that recipe, make sure and use a smaller size cutter than regular biscuits, because like me you will end up with a cookies sandwich about the size of a Moonpie, which with the filling might just be a little much.  Have not put them together yet, will do that in the morning before heading to the match.
Another thing that happened Friday night was Lisa had an essential oil party at the house and of course I was tasked with making a few appetizers.  Made the Capresse appetizers and the Tipsy fruit and both went over well, but the capresse went the best and was gone in a very short time.  The ladies were drinking some Pinot Gregio and it really went well with that.
It has really been a great weekend and looking forward to the Season Premier of Boardwalk Empire, so at least I will have something interesting to watch on TV.

Hank and Buster are doing great, but I think Buster is a little upset that he has to share Lisa and I with someone else.  I guess that was to be expected.

Waiting for another adventure.

That's a neat appetizer, going to try. TY for the suggestions. I had a friend that sold if I remember now, candles. She used to have those nice food and drink parties too! You did well.
