I had to skip the frosting because my husband is allergic to coconut. I used this recipe for the cake and then used store bought lemon cream frosting. This is one of the most moist cakes I have ever made! It turned out SO good! You can't taste the soda in it but there is still a good zesty lemon flavor. I plan to make this cake many more times! We loved it so much!!!!!!!!!Thank you for the recipe.

Cheese Vegetable Soup I

Yum! This soup was so flavorful, delicious, and hearty. It is like a meal by itself. We added more pepper sauce to give it a kick, and some shredded Sharp cheddar as we were serving it. This is perfect for Cheese lovers!

Jambalaya I

This recipe was not good. They should have named it Mushy Rice Jambalaya. Not only that, but the flavor was odd. I would suggest to omit the whole cloves. True, it smelled so nice when it was cooking, but we sat down to eat it and I hated it! Don't waste your time with this recipe, it's an insult to Jambalaya.

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

I didn't think addictive was an appropriate word for these burritos. "Average" would have been more like it. We "liked" these burritos, but we didn't love them. They were not flavorful enough even though we added all the fixings. We could taste the Sweet Potato, and it didn't compliment the beans very well. I would only make this recipe again if I had Vegetarian guest over for dinner.

Dinette Cake

I tried this recipe because it was the only one which I had all the ingredients in the house. This recipe made 18 yummy little cupcakes. They were a tad dry but frosting fixed that. This is a simple, economical, cheap, and tasty recipe.

Best Ever Butter Cream Frosting

No doubt, this concoction has a nice flavor. However, it was a disaster to work with!I followed the directions precisely and the ingredients seperated! I wound up with an oily liquid in the bottom of the bowl! I managed to scrape some "frosting" off the top and plop it onto some cupcakes, just because I couldn't bare to give up. I refridgerated the cupcakes with the blobs of goo and they turned out to be ugly and crusty. Don't waste your time and energy with this recipe.

Decorator Frosting I

Yes this frosting is white, but that's about it. The taste is average...very sweet and leaves a film in your mouth afterwards. I frosted a white cake with this and ended up having to throw it away because my family disliked the frosting. Sorry. This recipe did have potential though.

Beer Cake I

I used this recipe to make cupcakes for my husband's homecoming from Australia. Many other wives baked cupcakes, but mine were the only ones that ran out! Everybody loved them! No one could taste the beer, but everyone marveled at how light, tender, and moist the cupcakes were. This is a great recipe, and I will definatly use it again!
