Honey Vanilla Ice Cream

I was a little sceptical when I saw coke in the ingredient list and even more so when I had the gravy ingredients mixed in the bowl. I took a taste and almost threw it out, the flavor too sweet. Since the reviews were so favorable I went ahead with it and let me tell you, after the meat has cooked in the gravy, it's DELICIOUS! You would never know.

Herb Marinated London Broil

This recipe made tender, juicy, steak. My only complaint is the italian seasoning. Somehow that just doesn't belong on steak, to me, but I wanted to make it as written. I will make this recipe again and use another seasoning.

Fry Bread Tacos II

Breakfast Sausage

This sausage is really, really good. Other people suggested there was too much salt so I used 1 1/2 teaspoons and I thought it was just right. I used the cloves but will omit this next time. Very good recipe, thank you!

Emily's Famous Marshmallows

I don't know why some people have experienced so many problems with this recipe. The only thing I can think of is that marshmallow is a candy and must be made on a dry day. Nor should they be made while anything is producing steam on the stove (makes the kitchen humid). I used this recipe and the marshmallows were perfect. People could not believe I had done this myself. Very, very good

Southern Living Magazine's Chicken-Fried Steak

Chicken fried steak is not one of my favorite things to eat but this recipe is a good one. The outside is crispy and delicious. For the breading I omitted the all purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and used self rising flour instead. I did this for convenience only.

Cobb Salad

This is a fabulous salad. I must correct Bonnie who reviewed this recipe previously. The original recipe from The Brown Derby does not contain olives nor does it use Thousand Island dressing. The chef who's brilliant idea this recipe is used raw egg with lemon juice and mustard, among other things, for the dressing.

Stuffed Green Peppers I

This recipe reminds me of the frozen stuffed peppers made by Stouffer's. The tomato soup makes a wonderful sauce with just a hint of sweetness. Very, very good.
