Since last year I took off 35 lbs. I am maintaining my goal weight and as I looked to add recipes to the new menu system here at allrecipes, I realized it needed to revised. I went through all my recipes I had saved since 2004! Stayed up till 2 AM!
Oh, I hadn't planned to go through my whole box until I accidentally deleted the folder that had my collection of main dishes. The recipes were not deleted from my box, so I weeded through all of them and checked out how much sugar, fat and over all calorie
content there was in each recipe. I threw away many that were over the top and plan to revise ones that I can alter to bring down the sugar/fat/carb content.
Now for making menus.
We are keeping low on our carbs these days and I will be adding some Lean and Green meals. I don't plan on picking up those extra calories in the next two years. They say that 85 percent of people who loose weight gain it back in two years. I have a great
plan to not do that.
