Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2006
Oh my was this frosting heavenly! I was very impressed with the taste and texture. It was very creamy and easily spreadable. I made a basic yellow cake and frosted with this recipe and the cake turned out wonderful. I'm adding this recipe to my family favorites box! Thanks for sharing.

Grilled Pork Rub

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2006
I cut the recipe in half and used it on two thick-cut pork chops. Made the recipe exactly as directed and the chops turned out moist and very tasty. I've tried lots of pork rubs, but this one is by far the best I've come across. Even my 3.5 y/o and 1 y/o gobbled the pork up! I'm passing this recipe along to my friends. Thanks!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2005
I really did not like how these cookies turned out. The texture and taste did not equal a 5 star rating in my book. I will stick with my mom's chewy oatmeal cookie recipe for now.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2005
I made this for a birthday party dinner I threw. Used a really good, really firm, parmesan cheese and used roasted garlic instead of the garlic powder, doubled the recipe and added some salt and parsley. It turned out so creamy, yummy, and delicious it had my guests (even the picky eaters who swore they didn't eat pasta) raving! The sauce was perfect and didn't get dry or sticky. I was so pleased with the end result. I was a happy host who didn't have to spend tons of time or money on this dish. Will def. use this recipe time and time again! Thanks for sharing this classic.

OU Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2005
I made this dish for our New Year's dinner. It was so easy and turned out wonderful! I used sweet creamed style and whole corn, 1/2 the recipe, baked in an 8 X 8 dish and cut down the bake time. My whole family loved it, including my 2 year old son. Will be adding this recipe to my list of favorites!

Crabbies

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2004
My aunt gave me this recipe years ago and I make them often. They are wonderful and easy to throw together. I always splurge and use real crabmeat and Old English cheese spread. Yummers!

Crab Quiche I

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2004
What a wonderfully easy and yummy recipe! I made it at the last moment for a luncheon and it turned out perfect! I added cheddar cheese to mine and since I did not have green onions, I sprinkled some fresh chives on top. It turned out beautiful and everyone said it was awesome. Even my 19 month old son ate 3 pieces! I will be using this recipe again and again. Thanks!!!

Broccoli Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2004
This soup was so hearty, tasty, creamy, and wonderful. A new fav. of mine and my 18 month old son. I did not have processed cheese on hand so I threw in a can of Feista Cheese soup, 4 slices of American cheese, and 2 slices of Swiss. I also emitted the garlic (except for a sprinkle). It was great. Better then many fancy dinner soups I have had out. Will def. make again and again! Thanks for sharing this easy and yummy recipe!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2004
This recipe was okay, but I had to add alot of extra flavor to get it to taste the way my family likes. I added extra garlic, parsley, butter pepper & some corn starch to thicken it a bit. The end result was really good, but I don't think I will make this recipe again w/o the added ingredients.

Bread Machine Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2004
I was expecting a totally different kind of roll when I made these, but they were so good I didn't care. These are so soft on the inside and golden on the outside. The results turn out just like the picture! I did have to let them rise for a longer period of time than the recipe called for. I will make these again!

This is such an easy recipe! Seriously could not be easier. They rose beautifully for me & were not too dry. I served them with sausage gravy & the teenagers I had over said it made for the best breakfast they had ever had.

Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2004
Oh this dressing is WONDERFUL! Everyone was raving about it when I made it for a spinach friut salad I took to a church potluck. I did make some changes because I didn't want to run to the store to buy more ingredients. I used brown mustard instead of dijon, 1/2 raspberry balsamic vinegar 1/2 red wine viegar instead of the raspberry wine vinegar, and Splenda in place of the sugar. Turned out great.

Blueberry Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2004
This recipe is wonderful. Very easy to make! I took the finished dish to a church potluck and only 2-3 people tried some. I was sad everone missed out on such a good dessert. It tastes great, but it doesn't look like a 5 star dessert. (even though I crumbled graham crackers, butter, and sugar to make a little streussel topping and did a homemade graham cracker crust for the bottom). If you make this dessert, you might want to serve it when there are no other dessert options for guests to choose from...that way everyone will have to try some- they will be glad they did.

Banana Crepes

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2004
After seeing all of the great reviews here, I decided I best try them. So glad I did! They were great! I made the batter up earlier in the day and set aside the ingerdients for the sauce earlier as well. It made putting dinner on the table much easier and faster. My husband how is very picky, (and hates trying anything new) was raving about the crepes. he def. wants me to make these again. I will be adding the recipe to my favorites collection. THANKS!

Hershey's ® 'Perfectly Chocolate' Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2004
I am only giving this recipe 3 stars because of the icing. It would have received 1 star otherwise. The cake had no flavor whatsoever. I ended up having to poke holes in the cake and pouring evaporated milk, caramel, and chocolate sauce over the entire thing in order for it to have any taste at all. The frosting on the other hand was great. I addded whipped cream in it to make it more fluffy and not too sweet. Loved the results and will use the frosting again...maybe on a boxed mix.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2004
I used the sauce to marinade steak and chicken for kabobs. My husband loved them and said our 16 month old baby couldn't get enough of the chicken. Too bad I had an evening out with my mom and missed the end results. It just it gives me an excuse to use this recipe again!
